Credit Karma provides an excellent tool for managing your finances and getting out of debt. I recommend it for anyone looking for financial assistance. It’s highly recommended for people with financial problems. Today it’s important that you know how much money you are saving and spending. This gives you a tool that will help you navigate your financial life while is vital for life in financial stability.

This app vibrates the phone because it’s trying to annoy the user into scrolling down so that the user is forced to look at ads. This is a dark pattern and is disrespectful to the user.

It’s an okay app/service but has some bugs that support refuses or unable to fix. It always shows credit card payments as transfers. Transfers to what? I will change them to bills/utilities but then it will show a duplicate with the dollar amount in green which the app shows as income. I mean it doesn’t affect my checking account but is showing incorrect information. Isn’t that the whole point of this app! Support sucks, I have sent them screenshots of the issue and all I get is generic answers that don’t address the problem.

Update: Ck reached out defending their actions and claiming it was the third party’s fault: This was their response word for word: “To clarify, Credit Karma doesn't sell your personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. If you applied through a lender on our platform, your information would have been shared with that lender as part of the application process, so we'd recommend reaching out to them directly to ask about their data handling.” This shows clearly how CK does not care about people’s data. You shared data to lenders who misuse them and claim it’s not their fault! I am highly disappointed to say the least!!! Made one enquiry earlier this year about obtaining a personal loan through this app. Only through this app. Ever since then I keep getting countless spam calls about loan offers. This is unacceptable. You can’t keep sell people’s personal data for your financial gains!

The app seems to be more and more about the ads and less about actual useful information. Even the dashboard has been made smaller so that more ads could be shown. I think this may be a sign of collecting information for the purposes of spam and not for ensuring the integrity of my information.

I have paid off over $4500 in debt in less than one month. I’ve disputed the negative impact it has on my credit report and I have absolutely zero debt. Also why does a prepaid chime card show up as “they lowered my limit”. There is no limit on a prepaid chime card. This shouldn’t be on there. I paid off all debts and Credit Karma I feel doesn’t have my back when I need them too. I’m disgusted with them. As far as I’m concerned credit can go “you know what” itself. After all these disputes that were in my favor there is still 26 names associated with my closed accounts from 5–7 years ago. And my score is still hovering around mid 600s. How? Why don’t you stick up for customers who use your app. Get with it or get out. I’m sick of credit and it’s nothing but an upgrade from what those evil people did in ww2. They number you. Absolutely pathetic.

They also give you plenty of chances to gain access to good credit cards and personal loans. You can never have enough available credit!

I have enjoyed and recommended this app for many years but it recently started annoying me with recommendations for my neighbors’ vehicles. Thankfully Gemini helped me with “hopefully” disabling the notifications but I don’t EVER want anything insurance related for anything. The options should be more clear and accessible as an opt-it not on by default. This is Credit Karma not Insurance with Flo!!! 🤬🤬🤬 —————————————- Google Search results: You cannot selectively turn off individual product categories like auto recommendations in Credit Karma, because they do not offer granular topic filters for ads -Gemini This would be 1 star if it didn’t have the option to stop at least the notification but I don’t want it on at all so please look into this.

This app doesn’t make sense

I rate this 2/5. Customer service is horrible. They don’t answer the phone, and when you finally get someone, it’s extremely hard to communicate because they don’t understand English well, and I can’t understand them either. Nobody takes the time to actually help or understand what’s going on. They tell you that you can withdraw your money, but when you actually try to do it, it won’t let you. So basically, they’re telling us one thing and then doing another. They froze my account for no reason, and now I can’t even get my money out. I still have yet to get any actual help. I definitely don’t recommend Credit Karma. The only thing they’re good for is checking your credit score, and that’s it. 😒

I’ve been unable to log in to the Credit Karma app. I’ve already gone through the password reset process and successfully reset my password, but I still cannot access my account. This is extremely frustrating, especially for a financial app where reliable account access is essential. I’ve tried resetting my password again, but the issue persists. Please fix the login experience and provide a reliable way for users to regain access to their accounts.

This used to be Mint, which I found super helpful for managing my expenses. Now it never links to my accounts and continues to give me ads for credit cards I don’t need. The UI is confusing and theres so much unnecessary text on the screen that’s it has become unusable.

Not a bad app, but half the things don’t work, this app can’t “confirm” my address so that never works right, I was looking at offers closed the app and came back and now I can’t check my offers because I’m getting an error message, really annoying when I JUST HAD 4-5 outstanding offers now I can’t access this cause the app doesn’t want to work right once again

This makes looking at all my accounts rather easy. I mostly like it to track my spending and earnings. I’m not sure how it categorizes my transactions but half the time it’s wrong. I have to correct it individually instead of it learning how I want certain transactions to be categorized at. All my paychecks keep getting categorized as Transfers instead of Income. It’s really annoying so I don’t pay attention to the categories anymore. It’s completely useless for me.

Intrusive ads constantly re-open even though they supposedly have finished playing. Locks up your screen, constantly spawns browser windows. 1 star for SPAMMING!!!

Remember when Intuit used to actually offer decent products? Long are those days! CreditKarma doesn’t even bother showing me accurate info anymore. Tells me my monthly mortgage payment is $125//mo HIGHER than it actually is. Can’t be bothered to see that a balance on a 0% APR card has NO INTEREST, but wants to offer me other balance transfer cards. Get a clue. Also, the AI just really bogs down the whole damn app. Slow, glitchy, lags…get rid of it. Or at least give us an option to turn the thing off!

Car for my wife Good morning it would be super. Y’all could help me with some funds to buy my wife a car. She’d be so happy with me make her a day and you know I might even get a good Christmas present this year. That’s not too far away. We’re already four months of Christmas is crazy how fast years go now but yes for the payment for $10,000. We can give us that much that would buy a good card if we got one cheaper, we just have some Mexican money maybe work on dad‘s truck a little bit huh but yeah find it in your heart. Loan will be happy to take care of making payment downtown every month. Appreciate it.

I’ve given them well over 4 weeks to resolve the issue I uncovered with their whole spending area. Find an item categorized incorrectly and then fix it, the totals still show up on the original category even though it’s wrong.

Credit Karma always have information that’s not true. I don’t have a vehicle and they got seven vehicles on my stuff like I own them

I simply asked a question and their customer support continually says we understand how frustrated you are… I wasn’t frustrated until after dealing with them. Very unprofessional staff.

Anybody else miss the good old days when this app recommended credit cards based off of factors other than who pays them the most to push their cards? Seriously, show me one card recommendation for somebody with an 800 credit score that doesn’t have 25%+ interest rates? Honestly a joke with that part. I only use the app to check on my credit now, which it works for.

Everytime I try to sign in it tells me that they can’t connect to credit karma or they send me a one time password for me not to get signed in.

Used to be good years ago. With every update lately the credit score section of the app has been shrinking. Now the home page is 95% ads and Credit Karma banking (which is a scam) and credit score only about 5% of the screen

I’ve owned this app since the beginning of building my credit. This app keeps me up to date and motivated to get my credit higher, it always suggests the best credit cards with there pros n cons. Although it might not tell you the exact number where your credit sits, it will give you an estimate. I’m not getting paid to tell you any of this, so this isn’t a bought review. I would recommend this app for many reasons but mainly for the fact that it’s free, 100% would recommend this app.

I found the Credit Karma to be helpful to keep track of my credit scores and other things related to credit cards. Great app!

Updates are far and few between. Does not pay if guaranteed offers are rejected as advertised. Positive factors are slow to hit scores, while any credit usage immediately impacts score.

The app keeps changing where i put my expenses. ie: i mark an item as a “bill” but it changes it to “shopping “. If it was just the current month, no problem because i can just change it back, but it gets changed across all previous months as well. It’s messing up my calculations when i try to figure out my average spending in each category at the end of the year. This is extremely frustrating! Please fix this.

No phone number for customer service

The app itself was very convenient for checking my credit score, but the technical support has been just as terrible. I’ve been trying to resolve this for a week because I can’t log into my account after changing my phone number. I’ve provided my old phone number, my new phone number, a photo of myself, photos of my ID, all of my personal information, and my Social Security number, and I still haven’t been able to access my account for an entire week. And on top of that, they keep asking me, “How did we do?” and “How satisfied are you with our support?” You didn’t resolve anything.

Basic credit monitoring is great lets you know anything going on with your credit anyone 18 and up should have this if they’re bank doesn’t provide it

This certainly helped me with selecting cards I got approved for without hurting my score. I went from no cards to over five, all in good standing, in a little over a year. It’s helped me build and maintain good credit. Again, the card selector is very helpful! I highly recommend using this!!!!!

Don’t do Banking with Them . They have very bad customer services and system. They just lied about someone trying to steal money from me . But in reality they are the ones responsible.

Information is not updated as quickly as when I paid credit cards in full l . I have several credit cards that I paid in full that are still reporting full balance but when I use my card that is updated immediately. Also I receive inaccurate alerts for updates on my account when nothing new has been updated. I don’t know if this is just to draw traffic to the app but please stop sending inaccurate alerts

This app has really gone downhill and I'm not interested in using a hostile interface. What used to be the main focus of the app is now sectioned into one collapsible header out of 5 tabs, all irrelevant

I have been using Credit Karma since I turned 18, and it has been really cool to see how much the app has grown and improved over the years. The app just keeps getting better! I really appreciate the improvements they have made to user security, and I definitely recommend turning on two-factor authentication for an extra layer of protection. The interface is easy to navigate, and love being able to see so much of my financial information all in one place. They also provide plenty of recommendations, tools, and tips that can help you make better fina decisions and improve your finances. Overall, Credit Karma has been a really helpful tool for me the years, especially for keeping up with my finances in one place.

Stupid app won’t let you change your phone number to log into your account even if you have your email and password. Send you notifications making you want to check your credit score but won’t even let you log in and only tries to assist you with AI. Doesn’t help at all

The info in my credit report has not been updated, which should increase my credit scores. But updates have not been posted!! Student loans have been paid off!!

I originally got this app 8 years ago, and it was extremely intuitive and focused on providing information to understand your credit. Whatever these new integrations and changes are have completely derailed this app from what it’s meant for. Thought I just opened some AI-built scam app. I feel like they’re trying to sell me loans and credit cards first, and credit literacy features have become some backburner throwaway portion. Very disappointing to all the people I know who use this. Please fix this back to what Credit Karma is supposed to be.

They don’t help you with money concerns if you got a refund, you might not see it anyway. The only thing it’s good for is checking your credit. Do not use this as a bank. They do not work with Zelle or any other thing to transfer money If you ever need to. Most ATMs it charges you to take out money if you need cash. Almost any other banking is better than this. Your grandmother could help you more with money than they can. Believe me, I’ve had to deal with their customer service and it is the absolute worst.

I’m going to delete this app because it’s really most ppl like myself false hope. You do what’s needed and it tears you down on what life is given. I do know this doesn’t determine who I am and this place is only temporary home until my Heavenly Father comes.update: I wanted to do a personal loan and used a company that you guys recommended. I have had generally good results with them. I’ve been using them for years and have acquired several loans and many credit cards. But they insist on showing me loans available from SoFi which has a bad reputation for multiple reasons. I refuse to further their attempt at manipulation by ONLY showing offers from SoFi. You attempt to secure a loan through them only to have them do a hard inquiry (with the notice saying it’s a soft) and giving you drastically different interest rate after you go through their application process. It has been unable to update a fidelity account for over a year, also for some reason can not get it to update my chase accounts either has also been over a year. I literally track some account’s manually because of it, which defeats the purpose of the app, may as well use excel. Have used Mint since 2013… it’s definitely at its most glitch 14 years in, and I will be finding an alternative after all these years.

I changed my phone number and no matter how many times I try Credit Karma doesn’t recognize my new number or any other phone numbers I put in so I am locked out. Horrible experience never use this service

It really good to keep track of your Credict

The company puts all kinds of promotions out for you to raise your score, but when you do your scores tank.

This app is always behind as my credit score is higher than what Credit Karma always says. So it's not actually correct. I have sent him a message and they still have not corrected their system so don't trust them completely. They are very close but they're not giving accurate information about your credit score.

It’s so frustrating. They’re changing the app constantly. Never tell you what’s changed or where things have been moved. I had a syncing issue earlier this year and I talked to customer service and they said it was fine and it’s never recovered. I have to recategorize stuff constantly. I have a broken category right now that says there’s a transaction in it and then when I drill down it’s empty. It’s more of a hassle than it’s worth. I’ve already started migrating a lot of account syncing out of it. Trying to get setup so I can just be done with it altogether. It’s so unreliable. Like the best part of it really is the tax integration but it’s absolute garbage for tracking your budget reliably. Mint used to be the absolute best. Then intuit bought it and just decided to destroy it beyond recognition.

CK has thought me how to save,spend and grow my credit.

It is difficult to identify your accounts, cards, etc. from your offers. Therefore, navigation is hard. The are no instructions explaining the UI. For example, there appears to be a link called “Link this account.” What is it linking my account to? What does linking do? Who can see the links? And what else?

App shows incorrect credit scores. I pay for accounts at Equifax, TransUnion and Experian. I also check my FICO 8 through Bank of America. Credit Karma is always pretty dramatically lower of a score than the actual score. Credit Karma attempts to bait people into high interest loans in which they profit from by trying to convince them their credit score is low enough to only have terribly high interest options. Very disappointing.

Literally worst service I’ve experienced yet, it will not let me login in or change my pass word and after jumping through all the hoops I’m just told no we don’t think you are who you say you are. I will recommend avoiding Credit Karma and encourage using any other credit service to anyone whom it concerns

Convenient but far from accurate. The reporting is behind, not correct and even after disputes, reports do not get changed. If a card goes up they take 90 points, then when you pay it down you get 9 points. It’s a scam to sell secured fix your credit fast cards with what should be highly illegal fees. Do not rely on Credit Karma, go to the actual companies that report from the bureaus apps and use them. If you use CK, take it with a grain of salt. Scams and frauds that end up causing you more problems than it’s worth. 1 star not 5 my Mistake. Kind of like what they do to you.

Easy to manage

Credit Karma is handy to have on hand. It’s nice to be able to watch your credit score grow. You can quickly see something that is wrong, get it fixed before matters get out of hand. There are learning tools and offers. When Credit Karma first became available over a decade ago, I was skeptical about it, but it’s become one of those tools that feels necessary to have.

I hate what you did with mint after the acquisition. All the cool features I used to adore about mint are no longer there, I cannot manually add transactions, if I hide one recurring it doesn’t ask me whether I want to hide others as well, I cannot find my Zelle transactions, I cannot change dates of any transactions. It seems like this junk was just created for intuit to obtain as much data as possible and to sell that info to other companies.

Credit Karma is such a user friendly app which I love. You can do almost everything on the app not just checking your credits scores but you can even find cars, cheaper insurance, and even loans. It’s absolutely incredible how much you can do in this free app. I’ve been using this app for almost 5 years now and it’s truly made adulting much easier.

I filled out the information for a Carr refi with the rates. They said I would get all of the offers were way higher. I’d like to credit camera a lot until this!!

In my state comparing insurance is legally not allowed. But every week CK offers to compare insurance and save me XX which is more than I pay in a year. They send me notices congratulating me on a better score every time my score goes DOWN 3 points. There information is outdated and they want me to have 500 new credit cards because being more in debt is financially helpful and good for my credit rating? I feel as unsafe financially as I have every felt every time I get a message from Credit Karma. Zero stars. Is there a better credit checking app?

Intuit is THEE WORST! Nearly impossible to get your info corrected & same if you have changes to your phone or email. They even went thru a suit got all their incorrect info & making it too difficult for ppl to update etc. be very careful using this Update-at least they responded to this review. Lots of issues with linked accounts, have asked for help multiple times and gotten no where. The accounts need “fixing” but the account is not listed on the edit screen. I can’t even delete the account and start over. I reached out 6 months ago and they said they would escalate but they just closed the request. My most recent attempt today with Daniel R was a complete waste of time yet again

Credit Karma can’t discern between a loan and a bank balance. They show my loan balances also as available cash but then want me to dispute it with the credit bureaus. Don’t dispute correct loan reporting with credit bureaus. Make the help chat escalate to someone that knows what they’re doing. Talk to someone that understands the difference between an asset and liability.

DO NOT give these people your personal information!!!! It’s better to go to Transunion and Equifax directly! These people can’t help you they are middle men!! They are only SELLING you products that you could find with Transunion and Equifax directly!!! IF YOU GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFO THEY WILL KEEP IF FOREVER! EVEN IF YOU ASK TO BE REMOVED! This app is an advertisement for credit products. It’s useless. Mint was supposed to integrate into this “modern platform” - it didn’t.

This have been the most stressful experience I’ve ever had with money and that’s saying something. I have had my spend account closed for 6 months but they still decided to accept a random deposit and now I can’t access my paycheck and can’t talk to a single person to get this figured out instead I’m giving a chat support link and said to tell the so my issue. Worst customer service ever!!!

Credit Karma has really helped me stay on track with building my credit and keeping me informed about my credit score, spending habits, and paying bills on time.

Most inaccurate info ever

I mainly used Credit Karma for credit card and loan recommendations, and my experience was disappointing. The cards and loans that were recommended to me were not good matches. Some resulted in hard inquiries, and the credit limits I was approved for were extremely low. The recommendations felt generic rather than personalized to my financial situation. Another frustrating issue was the promotions and sweepstakes. The app advertised opportunities to win cash prizes, including up to $50,000. I kept checking back to participate, but then the promotions simply disappeared without any notification or explanation. It felt confusing and poorly managed. Credit Karma is useful for checking your credit score and monitoring your credit report, but I would not rely on its recommendations for credit cards or loans. Based on my experience, I don’t recommend making financial decisions solely from the offers shown in the app.

Keep getting tense, intensive useless notifications and that only can you not delete without checking first, but you can’t delete them.

So disappointed with how each update shrinks the visability of the act actual credit scores/reporting section and increases the amount of sponsored offers. Encouraging people to take out more credit is not good business for customers, just for lining your pockets!.

Had a duplicate credit card showing on my account forever and kept trying to get help with removing one of them. But what I was instructed to do did not work so was left with that showing on my total DEBT. Which my DEBT was so easy to look at, because it was at the top of my mobile app page, but now I have to scroll down to bottom of the page to see it now. I want it at the top again!

Whatever new update that now has metrics on the Home Screen instead of just the credit scores and can’t delete the metrics when you go to customize. This is garbage.

Can’t find how to delete notifications. Deducted 1 star. Because once read , should be able to delete them one at a time or all at once.

Credit Karma provides me an overall picture of my credit. I am able compare options for financing when I need it. I can check my score and monitor activity.

However, the credit karma is not very great. I feel like they care more about selling me a new credit card or personal loan for whoever they’re to advertise for and making their dollars then they do about actually doing what they were intended to do. Here’s a concise, strong version: The interface is nice, and the app shows many credit card offers. I applied for a card that was presented as having excellent approval odds, with a promise of a $50 Amazon gift card if I was declined. I was declined despite having good credit, and I never received the gift card. Even worse, after entering my information to explore loan offers, I began receiving around 15 spam calls a day from unfamiliar loan companies. This has continued for months and has been extremely disruptive. Based on my experience, it appears my information was widely shared with third parties. I strongly recommend avoiding this app. The nonstop spam has far outweighed any possible value.

Just received another spam call. But this time I answered. I was told by the not so lovely person on the phone that they acquired my personal information from Credit Karma. Perhaps instead of selling individual information they could work on updating their site and app to be a little more up to par. It’s lacking to say the least.

The app itself is fine I just hate the new format. I don’t wanna see everything right when I open the app. Especially when you still have to go through and click the different options anyway. At least let’s have the option to choose which format we want.

Love the user interface on the app and how simplistic it is to guide throughout the app itself , just wish there was more functionality and offers for “unsecured credit loans”and additional adjustable ways of settling collections too, but it is possibly best app to view credit fast free and reliable while it offers loan and dispute settlement options too. Credit Karma is great for keeping track of all of your balances and looking at ideas on how to build credit. It can be overwhelming at times but the truth is also this. That’s why I like Credit Karma.

I am disappointed with my experience using Credit Karma. I have several loans that were paid in full and in good standing, yet they are not being reflected as positive accounts. Instead, my credit score dropped, making it appear as though paying off my loans negatively affected my credit. As a user, I expect accurate and transparent reporting. Seeing my score decrease after responsibly paying off debt is confusing and frustrating. The app does not clearly explain why this happens, which can be misleading for people trying to improve their credit. I hope Credit Karma improves the way it presents paid-off accounts and provides clearer explanations so users can better understand the fact banana bread ors affecting their credit scores.

After going through Schwab to track all of my bills and accounts, it hit me that credit karma can only do credit scores properly. I’ve tried connecting my different financial accounts, bills, and debt through them but ultimately none of that works properly and looks completely off from my actual finances. The sensors they use to track anything outside of credit scores are some of the worst I’ve seen for a financial institution. Use the app solely for your credit score and you are good to go.

CK has got me back on track for Excellent Credit. It’s given me the tools to make necessary adjustments and changes to my credit history and it does it in realtime. I’m at excellent credit in less than a year. I’m so excited about this service it’s amazing and true.

I’m writing this bad review because every time I try to do my get my points to 17 points boost. It won’t let me it always say that or something went wrong or the 50 points that I was supposed to get it always say something went wrong.

I would like to know how long the marks against your score stay on your credit record. It seems very long. Two years plus is a long time for no change. Also the points you take away is grossly off from the points you give it out. Why take so many points away because it takes so long to get them back and see a difference. Also when do you make your assessment each month. Seems to be a month behind from what’s actually reflecting.

I’ve tried making an account and it refusing to use my phone number and it saying the phone number under my account end in 5223 I’ve never had a phone that ended with that number I’ve tried to make atleast 3 accounts to see if it was just an issue with that one but no it refuses to let me get an account I don’t know if it thinks I’m being fraudulent but I don’t even think you can even do fraud on there I just need to see what my credit is without it being difficult.

While there may be a helpful feature or two, the main purpose is to sell the products of the “partners”. There is no assurance that these products are the best available.

Checked it out after a few years, and immediately started getting ads on FB related to my activity. Edit: Dev assures no data is shared with third party, but they were *very* specific. I never had this issue with Intuit Turbo Tax.

It has helped me meeting my goals and increasing my credit score which has allowed me to make a few a few big investments.

Love to see my credit score being updated. Credit Karma is very good at letting me know when my score changes.

Horrible closed my acct because I disputed some transactions and instead of allowing me to withdraw my money and they saying they gonna send a paper check and it’ll be received within 7-14 days

I’m trying to work with Credit Karma but your credit score and my credit score are not the same. I really don’t like that so I’ll be deleting this app

I get multiple emails and push notifications per day telling me my credit score, credit utilization, or spending power has changed and I need to check it in the app. However, upon checking, there is no change to anything at all. Card balances are never up to date, showing high balances on cards paid off months ago. It wouldn’t be nearly annoying if they didn’t keep sending misleading notifications. Since Intuit bought Credit Karma, the quality of this app has tanked.

or move the bar, make it smaller. i'm not stupid, i know how to use the app and check my finances. most people don't need a big bar to beg an ai bot for answers. it's ugly and in the way. just make it a small chat button like every other app. it's not necessary.

I had a very disappointing experience with Credit Karma. I applied for a credit card that was listed in the “Credit Karma Guarantee” section. Based on that, I expected that if I wasn’t approved, I would at least receive the promised $25 Guarantee payment. Instead, my application was denied immediately. I received a hard inquiry on my credit report, which lowered my credit score by 3 points. To make matters worse, I did not receive the promised $25 compensation. The card has now disappeared from my Credit Karma offers, and customer support has not provided a satisfactory explanation. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend using Credit Karma to apply for credit cards. A hard inquiry can affect your credit, and in my case, the advertised guarantee did not provide the benefit I expected. I recommend thinking twice before submitting any credit card applications through this service.

After years of having this app, everything is always wrong. Credit score, my accounts I have, my money in my accounts, the car I drive that I never even put in might I add. They are notifying me about information that is not mine, which seems like more of a worry then anything. I would NOT recommend this app. Your banking app does everything and then + some.

You don’t keep up with the actual payment as quick as experian. Does therefore my scores are as high as Capital One or Experian says when my auto pay come in. That’s when you look at my information, but it is usually paid within 1 to 2 weeks. And sometimes by the time you look at it again, you have old information compared to Experian. my other scores are 826 to 844 and yours are always 20,40 points lower than other companies who have current information my monthly bills come in you can lower me by that much and when I pay them, you only raise it back one or two or three points occasionally one will jump more

I downloaded it to keep track of my credit score and boy it did such a great job offering insights, tips and financial information to skyrocket my credit score in short time. I saw its evolution with more and more tools and now this is my go to app to keep an eye on all of my finances. It helps me build and keep a budget, no more money leaks, I know exactly where everything is spent on. I can see my net worth. It provides advice on what credit card to use for what to get the best rewards, money back, etc. I love this app. Great job to all the people behind it!!

I got my first credit card through them and I am currently exploring my options for a new one. They also offer many credit building tools and Is very educational.

App is okay. It’s just a platform for advertising new credit cards. They’re all the same.

The app is fine if you can even log into it. Every time it ask me for further authentication I put in what it ask for and then it just doesn’t send me a code or doesn’t email me. This forces me to just sit here and not be able to log into my account. Fix this and I’ll redownload the app until then there’s no point because I can’t even log in.

Great way to keep your score updated

The app’s spending and cash flow numbers have become inaccurate after the 26.29 update. Before the update, the numbers were accurate and matched my transactions, but now the summary totals are completely off. For example, the top-line category totals can show amounts that don’t match the actual transactions listed when you open the category. The individual transactions themselves appear correct, but the totals and summaries are wrong, making the budgeting features unreliable. I’ve tried getting help through the available support channels, but the issue has not been resolved. Please investigate this update-related bug and fix the inaccurate calculations.

Easy to use and helps me know where I’m and what I need to improve on

For what this review is worth, I’ve used Credit Karma since 2015. I get notifications stating my score has gone up but it actually hasn’t. Example: Today I received a notification that said congrats on my 31pt increase. I get in there and it showed that my Equifax score has gone down 1pt with no changes to others. I like to use this app to help me see how my spending and payments affect my credits. Another thing, they had rid themselves of the app “mint” and which helped you see your net worth and more. They tried to integrate it into the Credit Karma app but it just doesn’t do the same. Credit Karma has too much going on. I wouldn’t mind having that info within Credit Karma but I would like to have the mint app back for better tracking.

Like the title says. no efficient way of communication. Days of emailing back and forth one piece of information at a time. I didn’t even get to use the app yet due to the fact that there was an issue with my number already being in use. if i can’t have a reliable way to fix that as my first problem, i would hate to experience any other problem with this app further down the line and have to be put on hold for days at a time when i’m in need of urgent help. one star. Fix your customer service.

Credit Karma is a decent app to track your credit score, spending and savings etc. however, it does not properly reflect CC payment history. My CC payment history is currently 90% on time but Credit Karma has not reflected such progress as it still shows my payment history as 84%. Please fix this issue!!!

2 years ago my life took a turn of starting completely over with a very low credit score due to identity fraud. I got credit Karma and began my $200 limit capital one card credit building journey. I checked my score regularly and made all my payments on time. Its been a little over 2 years and my credit scor has jumped over 150 points. I owe it all to the ease of checking in to see balances, payment due dates and credit score movement. I also was able to dispute transactions that were created with my identity breach. I've been with Credit Karma for many years and I will be closing my account once done with this review. I believe that their website has been hacked. Credit balances on credit cards that were not mine appeared on their website. I went over the information with a representative who said she would get back to me. That did not happen. I sent them two more requests for assistance that went unanswered. So the safest way I believe is to delete my account. Credit Karma has grown over the years and now apparently have employees who just do not care. Good luck to all who choose to stay with a company that doesn't care about its clients. Roy

This app is very deceptive to make you hop on just to check it but other than that it’s useful.

And even better, you can opt out!!

The app miscategorizes most transfers as bills. Even after manually correcting the transactions, it still shows them as bills, which wildly inflates your “expenses.” Basically useless for any cash flow analysis.

They say they aren’t selling it but they sure as hell do share it with others.

Constantly troubleshooting logging in.

I’m upset they dropped me 31 points on 2 and 50 on another for being over my 30% which shouldn’t have happened I didn’t give permission to charge on my card! Otherwise I’m enjoying learning just hope it goes up from now on!!

You have the credit balance for my Barclays card duplicated in the total credo outstanding amount. I only have ONE BARCLAYS CREDIT CARD. And my outstanding credit balance is $8,234.55 as of today(7/13/26). It will be substantially reduced when the next payment is processed in a few days. Please correct your information.

Initially was working ok, at best. Now it constantly picks up old accounts that do not exist and also duplicates multiple accounts old balances while also including current balances. Looking for an alternative.
