How this works
One person reviews every human-asserted fact here. These are the rules that person follows.
- Three states, never two
Yes, No and Unknown. Unknown means nobody has told us and we have not checked — it is never quietly rendered as No, and text the parser cannot read confidently is left Unknown rather than guessed into a verdict.
- An app has a feature or it does not
There is no Limited. A verdict records what ships, not how much of it; the notes say the rest.
- Ships today, not on the roadmap
An attribute records what a paying customer can use now.
- Everything a person asserts is read first
Strangers, regulars and the app’s own founder alike. Machine-fetched facts publish themselves and are labelled as such.
- Vendor claims are labelled as claims
A vendor asserting something about their own product has no page to cite — they are the source. Those values say whose word they are, right on the row, and are counted separately from the ones we checked ourselves. A founder cannot raise this site’s verified count by filling in their own listing.
- A checked value shows its source
Where a person verified an attribute against the vendor’s own documentation, the row carries a link to the page it was read from. Follow it and disagree with us — that is what it is for. Values still carrying only the community spreadsheet’s word have no link.
- Nothing is for sale
No paid placement, no affiliate links, no commission. A vendor offer never moves an app up a list, and claiming a listing buys speed of review, never position.
Getting something corrected
Anyone can request a change — you do not need to own the app. Use Suggest an edit on any listing, or write to corrections@personalfinanceapps.guide. Say which attribute, what it should be, and where that can be checked.

Every correction appears in the changelog with the date and its provenance. There is no quiet edit.
What this site collects
It does not
- Set any cookie, for any purpose
- Load third-party scripts, fonts, tag managers or ad tech
- Offer accounts, so there is no profile to build
- Ask for an email address to read anything
- Track you across other sites
It does
- Keep server request logs for 30 days, then delete them
- Remember your theme choice in your own browser, and nowhere else
- Read the email you send to submit or claim a listing — for that alone
This is a property of how the site is built, not a policy that could change next quarter: it is flat files on a CDN with no analytics layer to switch on. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
