I’ve tried the free 30 day trials simultaneously with YNAB, Monarch, Quicken Simplifi, and Copilot, and for me Copilot stands above the rest. Especially for my style of budgeting. The only thing that is missing is to have your credit score displayed on the Dashboard.
I’ve had this app for 3 months and there’s only one thing I wanted it to do. I want to be able to categorize transactions automatically. This app is very very bad at that. At 3 months I still need to manually change each transaction. I canceled because it doesn’t do the most basic thing it’s supposed to do. Wave is not very good at this but 100X better than this app. I don’t understand how an app like like this is getting 5 stars ratings if the auto categorization is only 10% accurate. I wish there were a way to know if the app has improved but after I cancelled and informed the developers of the bugs that seemed to prevent all auto categorization the declined to offer me a second free trial so I can’t actually know if it works now unless I pay $30/m — as an app developer myself I’m also aware $30/m is very very expensive so maybe I’ll try to build this myself and use local LLMs and sell for a one time price.
I tried a bunch of different budgeting apps before choosing this one. Monarch was the only other one that came close, but this won out because it was more straightforward and easy to budget and honestly looks better. I know app developers probably get tips all the time, but my two cents that I’d love to suggest would be: 1. Please provide a way for the widget background to be white. :( I use it for my shopping category and it really bothers me that i can’t just make it white. 2. I know a bunch of people hate ai but I personally would definitely use and love an ai assistant like Monarch has to help me organize and think through things. 3. I kinda wish the category section would actually be named budget, but I wish far more that I could drag up and down the categories to reorganize them instead of them being stuck in that order. Same with my bank accounts. That also really bugs me. All in all, I really like and appreciate this app and plan to continue using it. I hope it continues to grow and improve.
Great app for keeping track of expenses, net worth, and savings. Amazing customer support!
Need to add Sort by this month / last month / this year etc options to view by custom time ranges. Also need to add a bit more to custom rules so you can add maybe $ amount below or above for example.
I used chat today with many questions and they helped me patiently with all of them. I was kind of kicking myself for getting Copilot but now think it is going to work great for us! Thank you!
Now I am actually growing in wealth for the first time in my life thanks to this app. It makes it feel possible and easy to see everything and actually know how much money I own across the board and easy to keep track of my investments and know when to buy or sell and how much I have in extra accounts like savings, vacation, high yield savings, and more. Becoming rich actually feels possible at 23 now lol. I also found out from this app I had an extra $1300 sitting around in a Charles Schwab account.
I love everything about this app. The visualizations, the automatic categorization of expenses, and now with the new AI assistant, the great advice on improvements I can make to my budget/spending. Highly recommend!
add a credit tab where we can see credit score, utilization, etc
I’ve been using Copilot Money for a couple months now. I’ve found the app to be very intuitive and the times when I had questions the customer service was exceptional!
Good thing this came out and when it did. Use good notes and keep the words consistent.
I gave this App every chance, but Connections to Financial Institutions FAILED CONSTANTLY. I worked with Support… get a connection repaired, ONLY TO FAIL AGAIN WITHIN DAYS.
This makes tracking my finances so much easier
Just the app for me
What a fantastic app but it is missing a few critical items: 1. Ability to see/edit transaction rules 2. Comprehensive reporting 3. Useful and flexible investment module 4. Multiple (and visible) income categories While I understand that some of these items are in keeping with the Apple experience, they are keeping me from transferring all my accounts to Copilot.
I was excited to unlock the AI and see how this could help with reviewing transactions, but ended up deleting my account just before that happened. The Amazon sync goes back several years without a choice with no way to see and delete older items that aren’t linked to card charges. This seems intrusive especially since the card charges only go back a couple years (though there should be a choice with that as well). I had everything all setup when this happened and I ended up deleting my account to remove it the data from the servers hopefully. It made me feel like they were data mining even if that wasn’t the intention. I also wish it would oauth with more banks instead of having to go through plaid who has a privacy policy I don’t like. Lastly, I feel the budget magic wand should give the option to exclude categories for decreasing like loans, etc. Thanks and sorry for leaving feedback here, I checked the website first but couldn’t find a feedback link.
Everything in one place shows you where you really stand and are able to Adjust
I used to love this app, but now it’s not working as it’s meant to be. I have submitted multiple tickets and they always give me the same answer as they’re working on fixing it but it’s been the same issues for the whole year. They had added a goal for spending so it doesn’t affect your current budget but that feature is a joke. Since I first added a goal to a transaction all of my budgets have been wrong. I can’t even tell how much I’m spending and how much is left accurately to spend for the rest of the month. I’m just waiting for my subscription to run out and go find another app. It’s disappointing since I have used this for many years and this year it’s the first time where they haven’t updated and fixed these big issues.
I would like to add to Apple Watch compatibility to have a more affordable handling of my finances
Great dashboard, easy to use, saves time, it’s accurate. Worth the money.
I love the interface because it’s colorful and easy to navigate. It’s so easy to categorize transactions and see where all of your money is. The rollover feature is perfect for me rather than having to track individual sinking funds. It didn’t take long to set up at all, and it shows me everything I need without having to run reports or search for it, such as the average amount I’m spending per category per month, which updates automatically. I’m switching from YNAB, and I hated the give every dollar a job model. In Copilot Money, you don’t have to move assigned dollars between categories every time money moves between your accounts. This app has given me the flexibility I need in my budget while still maintaining control over my finances. My one suggestion is to add an auto-distribute function for splitting transactions so I don’t have to manually calculate sales tax for each category. EDIT: I have canceled my free trial and will be going back to spreadsheets. So far the customer support has been good. One of my accounts will not connect and they have been working diligently to resolve the issue - much appreciated. However, I discovered that a bunch of my transactions are missing. Initially, when I connected my accounts, it imported 2 1/2 years worth of data. I had to manually delete everything prior to this year, which was difficult because I kept trying to delete things and they wouldn’t disappear so I had to do it repeatedly. Now I’m discovering that most of my categories are missing transactions between January and April 2026. I tried entering them manually but it’s a bit tedious. I can’t customize the color of the accounts and when I search for them, the font is too small so it’s difficult to find the one I’m looking for plus they always come up in a different order. I also don’t like that I cannot re-order my categories or my recurrings. Speaking of recurrings, the app is not recognizing new transactions, even though I have set up a rule for the name. Some of my recurrings are duplicated and I can’t rename them. Visually the list is a mess. In addition, I have to agree with other users that there is no easy way to see what is available to spend. I find myself toggling back-and-forth between the cash flow tab, the dashboard and my categories but still not feeling certain about the information it’s giving me. Yesterday I was reviewing new transactions and one of them was categorized incorrectly even though I have at least five other transactions from the same place. When I re-categorized it, I found that all the previous transactions were also categorized incorrectly, even though I’ve already gone through every single transaction in my history and made sure that it was right. Somehow it got changed? I really like the layout of this app and at first it seemed great but now I’m finding too many functional errors.
I want to like this app. I really want to like it. It promises so many great things. Unfortunately, if you do not have one of the major five banks, you will probably have issues. I have a small, smaller credit union, and and there are constant issues with syncing, correct balances, and just getting it to work in general. I downloaded this in spent more time talking with support than I have actually using the app. If the issues I’m experiencing aren’t fixed by canceling my subscription.
annoying and hard to allocate funds not spent
Some features are great but it’s stuck in a specific place. Doesn’t work well for a couple; doesn’t have much budgeting flexibility — do it their way or don’t bother. And once you sign up it’s hard to get it to go away. Not that they keep making you pay - you just get ghost messages about stuff forever.
The App, integrations, and UI are really awesome. Support is quick, thorough and they really care about solving your issues, even if it takes days. Carlos spent over a week helping me solve an obscure issue with dozens of messages back and forth. Highly recommend.
They keep clearing my review so I’ll keep reviewing it. Used to be so smart with transactions now it makes the same errors over and over again. This app is aging. Why did rules used to work so well and now I have to fix the same transactions month after month after month. Used to be the cool new kid on the block but no functional new features for quarter after quarter. There are way better apps out there for features. Go look up Origin. AI in it! Actual new features every quarter! It’s like copilot just phoned it in to make money and stopped innovating. I’m gonna let my subscription expire and go to Origin next. I could list endless issues: Stock performance data is wrong literally every single day. It’s different every single time you open the app. Amazon requires DAILY verification to load in transactions, what a joke. This app is hardly worth paying for lol. Why did the basic rules stop working? I have to fix the same charges every month. It’s like this app degrades overtime
Absolutely! Here's something that feels warm, enthusiastic, and conversational—very much in your style. I've tried more budgeting and finance apps than I care to admit, and **Copilot Money** is hands down the best I've ever used. What really sets it apart is how incredibly easy it is to use. Within minutes I had a clear picture of where my money was going. The visual dashboards are beautiful, intuitive, and actually make you *want* to check your finances. The analytics are next-level, giving insights that are both meaningful and actionable without feeling overwhelming. Instead of staring at endless spreadsheets, I can see trends, spending habits, budgets, subscriptions, investments, and net worth at a glance. It's transformed the way I manage my finances. The subscription cost is honestly a bargain for what you get. It has already paid for itself by helping me stay organized, spot unnecessary spending, and make smarter financial decisions. If you're on the fence, don't be. Whether you're just starting to budget or you're a finance nerd who loves digging into the details, I can't recommend Copilot Money enough. It's one of those rare apps that actually exceeds the hype. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars without hesitation.
I’m a cfo. I’ve tried every app to make my personal finances clear and simple to track. I have a rental property business as well. Copilot makes it all so easy and clear. It’s the best I’ve ever used for personal financial budgeting and tracking.
The app imports all transactions from my bank as credits, including transactions where I’m paying someone else such as my power bill. This has been the case for most of 2026. Discussing the issue via the in-app support feature lead to agreement that the issue is present and then nothing, several months ago. Obviously my transactions showing as credits makes it nigh impossible to budget.
If you want to be able to see income-expenses=balance, this app isn’t for you. If you want a flashy dashboard that just shows how much you spent and you don’t really care to do the math, you’ll love it. If you’re actually budgeting, this is worthless. Update: I stand by my comments, the cash flow section is for the past, I want to also be able to budget for the future. I need the math on the budget.
Amazing app for budget tracking but I’d like to see a weekly spending as well as monthly to track it better. Hopefully that’s something that can be added soon
I re-connected my bank account, most of my transactions become duplicates. And changes of categories for past transactions disappear. It’s a disaster because they can’t reset to my old adjustment. All the transactions back to years are messed up.
I gave this a try for a year after monarch. This app looks great, but it fails to update and sync even if forced. The desktop app on Mac is trash.
Copilot is the best find that’s happened to my finical wellbeing in the past 5 years.

I used copilot for a detailed analysis of my finances and it was actually one of the easier and more intuitive financial apps that I have used. The dashboard is informative and well laid out. I ended up not subscribing after a year because I have most of my financial situation handled, but to start tracking your spending and subscriptions and get your finances back in control, for the price it’s a great app. The customer service team is also very responsive and quickly reached out when I contacted them. Kudos for that
Let’s first start off by how aesthetically pleasing everything is. It’s all laid out in a simple and easy to read format and literally tracks everything I spend across all my cards. It even shows my investments and how much they have changed by. I like the custom categories I can tag each transaction with and put notes if I need to. I also appreciate how it compares my total monthly spending with the previous month so I can effectively track if I’m doing better on my finances over time.
Started using after Mint. Exported and imported everything and been great. Teams been improving constantly and support has been very responsive. This is the ultimate example of a great product and a great team behind it.
Buggy, inconsistent connections with your financial accounts that require constant troubleshooting and nannying. Defeats the point of the app.
Despite repeated conversations with customer support, Apple Card transactions just don’t work. They’ll appear after adding the account (the first or the nth time), but after some random period they stop updating. If you have an Apple Card, this effectively makes Copilot worthless for tracking expenses. I’ve waited through several updates for a fix that hasn’t arrived. Time to check out alternatives.
Anyone can log in to see transactions and balances. There is nothing special about this app. It's a waste of time to set it up.
Don’t bother with this. There are so many issues. I can’t change the amount spend for the month. It’s constantly doubling my bills without a single transaction showing. I can’t adjust backwards on my saving goals. It doesn’t save the categories transactions are saved to. It’s a nightmare. I spend more time trying to fix transactions than I do tracking. And I can’t even fix most of the mistakes this stupid app makes. Im just stuck with it and hope its not an issue next month
Like others I also missed to cancel the free trial and the very next day when I requested for refund through apple the claim was rejected and no reason was provided. The apple support team raised their hands and asked me to make better decision in my life. The free trial is just to lure you in as you always forget to cancel the free trial.
Bad customer service. Takes forever to get a response. Not able to help fix tech issues that their platform caused.
I used a fidelity CMA account as my main checking account. For some reason, the app thinks it is an investment account and show ZERO of my transactions. I have tried reaching out for help on the messages app, but so far no luck. If the developer is reading this, please, reach out! Otherwise I will have to cancel my subscription.
For a long time (too long) I was using a spreadsheet for budgeting. It was impossible to ACTUALLY know where money was going without logging and categorizing every transation, transfer, etc. Which is really easy to forget to do and requires a major time commitment. I tried budget apps like Mint (back when it existed) but even those didn't really help me. Then I found Copilot and it has truly transformed my finances. I stay in budget now, I have achieved savings goals, and have almost eliminated the debt that I have. None of which would be possible without Copilot keeping an eye on my money 24/7. I honestly look forward to checking in on my finances now.
I’ve used this product for a couple years and overall it’s good. However, they periodically have connectivity issues with their third-party integrators, which they seem completely unable to address in a timely fashion. If something goes wrong with the integration between your bank or financial institution, you can easily wait 6 to 9 months for a fix. This is currently the case with an issue that has come up with U.S. Bank that occurred in February and six months later we are still waiting for a fix.
The app looks great and works great when you’re switching in between the different screens. My biggest complaint is it misses a lot of transactions. When I go back and review my transactions, there are quite a few that are missing. I’ve had to reach out to the company once before, and they fixed the issue, but it’s problematic and occurs on a frequent basis and not worth reaching out to them for every missing transaction.
This app is beautifully presented and I wanted to use it and i wanted to love it. One of my banks would not load the transactions and it prompted me to contact support. However, support (which I assume was a bot) asked me to contact in 24 hours if transactions still had not loaded. 24 hours later transactions still hadn’t loaded so i contacted support and never heard anything. Deleted the app and cancelled subscription.
All transactions, including all of my spending, from my bank account show as credits. That makes budgeting/tracking spending impossible, as you might imagine.
Relay was so helpful in reconnecting my bank, and the recording of those transactions
It’s been a helpful app and really like the design. I was hoping to try the new features they have coming out. But the connections to my accounts keep failing. I know part of it is Plaids problem but it defeats the purpose of the app at this point.
So, it makes you add all your accounts, including giving them access to your account NUMBERS, and THEN they offer the pricing tiers. So annoyed I wasted the time to set it up. Show the prices first. Or offer some sort of free option to try it out. Account deleted. 👋
I was able to login one time and never able to login again and have not been able to delete from my information from this app
Very nice wow
Can’t connect to Robinhood after update
I have been using this app since late last year. Still, there are various syncing issues consistently. For example, the current one is that the transactions of my bank accounts from jan to April are not showing which distorts my finance picture significantly. Also, when I reached out for customer service (only chat box available no call) has been slow and quite often cannot solve the problem that I had to give up. Given the price, they should do better in my opinion. Finance tracking is about accuracy.
Love that it’s a native iOS app and not another web-based money app. It’s not really a budgeting app in the strict zero-based-budgeting way but it’s more of a money tracking and forecasting method of budgeting app. Great for conveniently searching up prior purchases and keeping tabs on where my money went but sometimes it double counts certain transactions and that throws things off, showing that I’m over-budget in certain categories when it’s really that the app was glitchy. Overall, would recommend for general money tracking/forecasting but for strict budgeters may want to use this along with a zero-based budget app like YNAB
I’ve been using this app for almost a year now and love it. It makes it super easy to see all of my transactions across credit cards, Venmo, and investment accounts in one spot and I love being able to categorize transactions and set a budget for each category. One additional feature I would really like to see my save rate on the cash flow page. I can do some math to calculate it based on my income and expenses, but having the percentage listed (maybe with a pie chart to show the percentage saved of my total income) would be amazing. Save rate is talked about a lot in personal finance blogs/podcasts I’m sure a lot of users would appreciate the feature as well.
The app has terrible issues where my reviewed transactions are lost and having trouble connecting to Fidelity. The customer service team is unprofessional and providing no support or remedition.
Not being able to add categories to manual entries is nonsense. Can’t get accurate view.
I thought the app was pretty good, but it lacked a very basic but essential feature - transaction matching. Huge deal breaker for me! I wasn’t about to sit there and delete duplicate transactions every week. What a nightmare! To be honest, I was about to cancel my Quicken subscription, but quickly realized that Copilot Money fell short. It’s really too bad and very disappointing.
Not a macOS app
Intuitive Set up and all the features needed. Ive tried MANY money management tools and as a former user design & support contact, I’m aware of how difficult it is to program something complex yet make it work seamlessly for all user levels. If the app stays this reliable and safe, I’m a customer for life.
I use this app along with my husband to track all of our expenses and better budget. It’s great for goal setting and planning ahead. It also helps to handle any transactions we’ve let slip through the cracks. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants a better handle of their finances and setting budgets you can stick to.
The app is great, but lacks certain important automation features.
Used to work okay but now I can’t even open it.
Used to be a great tool when I first started using it. Recently it hasn’t been updating my checking and credit card balances. When reverifying credentials it bugged out and added my accounts again. This skewed my data and gave me a headache. Having to delete and start from scratch.
I've thoroughly enjoyed using this app to help manage my finances. It has help find missed recurring payments, understand where my money is spent as well as a plethora of other benefits. Issues with this is in the integrations with financial institutions and very importantly, support when something isn't going as planned. In the last year of using the app, I've had to reach out to support a few times. Currently I am stuck in trying to get someone to help resolve a transaction import issue which has rendered the app useless for nearly a week. Getting a response or contact method for a human has been impossible. Since nothing always works as expected, getting good help is paramount for these subscription apps and this company falls very short in this area. I suggest researching other apps.
They deleted my last review, but for $95 a year the app should actually work 100% of the time. Accounts constantly need reconnection. Their ai support agent hallucinates and I haven’t been able to get in touch with a real person. I will be looking for alternatives.
Responsive app support after resolving a bug.
Lost all data!!! UPD: reinstalled the app, all good now.
.
After spending 8 years using Mint, then about 5 years using Personal Capital (Empower), I came across this gem! Best budget app I’ve used yet - extremely polished mobile app, and it has everything you need - accounts history, categories, tags, syncs very well with most banks, custom goals. It’s well worth the $95/year! Kudos to the developers as well for creating an easy to use UI/UX.
Don’t download the latest update, the app now crashes on opening. No way to contact support besides the in-app chat… which is inaccessible when the app won’t load
I moved some of my transactions to come out of my brokerage account and copilot does not track those. The only work around is to manually track which I don’t want to do. It works fine on pretty much everything else (like credit cards, normal bank account) but this is a deal breaker for me. I won’t renew my membership if this doesn’t get remediated somehow.
i updated and now it keeps crashing please undo
Great ui, website is excellent too, and whenever there are problems, the built in chat support has always been prompt and helpful
Mostly good, but slow to implement basic features. It feels like they did a sprint to launch and stopped improving it. Disappointed given the premium price point.
There’s nothing better to track your finances. Highly recommend
This has been a solid app with great support. I like being able to tailor it more closely to my needs.
This is a near perfect budgeting app. Worth the price point to pay for service. I’ve finally actually balanced a budget for myself with a few months data going forward I’m very proud of. Couldn’t do this by myself with all my excel spreadsheets. The one stop shop to check on my accounts is great too. Very fun to watch. And the Widget!!! To the see live how I’m doing on my spending is worth its weight in gold. Tracking my discretionary spending is so probably now I can actually look live without having to remember anything.
New “features” are developed at a snails pace. They also took away the ability to see and vote on what features we (users) want to see in the app. No way to see the status of bugs and feedback or updates on concerns is nonexistent. 95$ a year is way too expensive for an app that is not improving at all and wishes it is as great as Mint once was.
I downloaded the app on my iPad, paid for the yearly subscription and I couldn’t move further from there . The app keeps asking me to subscribe when I tap the subscribe tab it says that I already have a subscription. I tried restoring the purchase, uninstalling and re installing the app with absolutely no success. Getting help from customer support is a waste of time because you get the bot which is very frustrating. I need a refund.
The latest release of this app is broken as of 06-11-2026. I am trying to open the app after I updated it yesterday, and I am staring at a blank screen with a blue logo in the middle. Tried deleting and reinstalling it, same thing. There is no way to reach customer support for this app. Wish I had moved to Monarch instead of paying the heavy subscription and getting this experience.
How do you contact support?!
I really wanted to use Copilot and tried to make it work, but there were too many little annoyances that finally made me give up. One of them was having to manually create two transactions for things like my car payment. For whatever reason, Plaid couldn’t connect to my car loan account, so I had to manually add it. The rigamarole of having to create manual transactions to debit the money from my checking and the create another transaction to my car loan account to show the payment was time consuming, frustrating, and quite frankly unnecessary. Being able to transfer money from a payment account to a loan account should be one transaction. I had three loan accounts I would have to do this for. I also found the iPad version of Copilot slow, sometimes unresponsive, unintuitive, and quite inferior to the iPhone app. Things in the iPad app did not work the same and were missing features. For example, when entering a manual internal transfer, the “incoming” or “outgoing” selector buttons were not available. Sometimes clicking on a field would bring up a numeric keypad while other times in would bring up a full keyboard. Finally, Copilot relies heavily on Plaid for connecting to banks. Unfortunately, this system was much less reliable than what I found in other finance apps. I would be willing to give Copilot another shot once they are able to update the iPad app and fix a lot of these issues.
As title please fox asap
Isn’t worth the paid subscription. Duplicated translations and app crashes.
I run a sole proprietorship. For what I need, Copilot Money does mostly a great job. It lacks some functions, however, that I feel should be standard on any financial app. For instance, there is no way to export the results of a filtered search, INCLUDING BY DATE. If I want to see how much I’ve spent in a specific category YTD, there is no way to do that natively in CM. I have to export ALL my transactions, dating back to when I first started using the app, to a spreadsheet, then filter my searches there. This is particularly vexing at tax time. Other, less-pressing problems (for me) have to do with look-and-feel issues, and so are completely subjective. Navigating to text fields within the app has never felt intuitive. Year-end summary does not allow me to page to whichever category I want to see - I can only move forward-back one page at a time in the order Copilot has arranged for me. If you’re going to include a “feature,” fine, but design it in a way that anticipates users wanting to do more with it than just passively follow the directions onscreen. There was an issue with my PayPal account needing to be re-synced daily. This seems to have been fixed recently, but other accounts also lose sync occasionally. Again, for the price, this app is a solid choice for tracking and organizing finances. But it could be so much more if the designers made up their minds to do a better job of meeting the needs and expectations of their users.
When adding recurring bills, can we get an option to upload a screenshot and have it read the details and generate the recurring bills? Peace and love!
Would be ideal to see credit card rewards management in this app since they already have all my banking details
Started a yearly subscription in the beginning of 2026. Halfway through, my accounts stopped syncing and ruined all the tracking of my investments, categories, and cash flow. And they blamed it on Plaid, the company they used to track your accounts. Shouldn’t build an app that relies heavily on another company that they can’t control. Tried to get a refund, but still haven’t heard anything. Hoping this review gets to them. 👎
Despite its hiccups, bumps and tools-still-in-development, Copilot is a smart, fresh, human-customer-centered little powerhouse well worth its weight in $ubscription . I just pray that Copilot stays creative, a little scrappy & Customer focused for many years. I just don't want it to go the way of NerdWallet, Facebook, Zaadz, Gaiam, OKCupid, Twitter, Tumblr... among so many others- companies that started off as similarly creative, conscientious, service & people-centered startups but were bought & sold out to mega-corps & holding companies. Which turned them into yesterday's news, addiction psychologized, formulaic cash cows that were milked dry into broken senescence, and remain only in name as tragic zombies of their former selves.
This is the #1 app to manage your finances, budgets, bills, etc. I’m someone that is very meticulous with finances but also try to optimize at every corner. I have multiple credit cards and multiple other financial accounts. I also do a lot personal cash flow planning and projections. Without this app, managing all that be a full-time job on its own. But with this app, it’s super easy (and weirdly fun!). What I like best is that everything is super intuitive and has the easiest interface. Not to mention they also have integrations directly into the accounts you would need. No manual efforts in importing or tracking individual transactions. The folks at this company continue to improve the app with features that you didn’t even know you needed! I’m really impressed by the copilot team and the app they have created. I’ve been using it for 3 years and I can’t imagine living without it!
Way better than Microsoft’s Copilot
i love copliot! i have been using it for 5 years and it's changed how i think about my spending, tbh. i used to avoid my bank account apps entirely and now i actually enjoy looking @ my account. no more avoiding, lol!
Great app. It makes my taxes so much easier at the end of the year.
very great app! UI IS PERFECT
Good
Great, now I can’t blame the software when I’m over budget
Just recently my Td bank transactions stopped showing up . Support worked a way around it but now I have to wait till the next day for my transaction to show up. Before they would show up instantly. Once this problem is fixed I will give it a 5 star
Granted I’m not as IT savvy as the younger gen but still I would have thought there would be more ramp up training. Disappointed.
I could not run my life without this app. I recommend Copilot to anyone who will listen.
Always had hard tracking myself. This makes it so much easier for me to see what is happening with my money.
Easy to use
Very bad response by AI agent. Not user friendly to me it was a bad experience
It's a truly beautiful app, but they take forever to release bug fixes and new features. The Goals feature does not work. It displays an inaccurate history of my Goal progress and it marks incomplete Goals as complete. The information on the User Guide does not match what actually appears in the app. I have submitted this feedback for months but nothing has been done. Support is very kind and as helpful as they can be, but for a $100/year subscription, the app should work as advertised.
I’ve tried many budgeting apps over the years, and this is by far the best. Super simple UI, AI functionality, and sophisticated categories and tagging. Amazing!
Absolutely fantastic budgeting app. Super clear, intuitive, syncs with Apple Card, nice layout. Everything I wanted in a budgeting app.
I really like this app and have recommended it to a lot of people, but one thing that I can’t believe is not available is being able to look at different months in the “categories” tab. I want to be able to plan for future months, and while I can change the budget by month per category, I can’t see an overall budget for any month other than the current month. It seems like this is a common complaint among users, with posts going back a couple years. I’m surprised the development team hasn’t implemented this yet.
Copilot is just a delight to use. Makes me check my money status far more frequently.
5 star app except it keeps making me type a review which I don't typically do. It's asked me at least a dozen times in the last couple weeks for a review
Good feature set for family budgeting with spouse, but after using 4 years, it’s slowing down a lot (hanging for while on app start up). Also the Amazon integration feature is nice, except I now have to log in every time I want to update transaction names, and the process involves full two factor authentication TWICE for some reason
I love everything about this app but the biggest problem I have is that it is only available on iOS. I have friends and family who would love to use copilot but can’t because they are on other platforms.
Love the visibility of our finances this app gives. Super user friendly and intuitive.
I love the density and complexity of this app. Helps me stay within my budget and not get surprised by recurring expenses. Takes some setup but worth the investment
Thanks for doing it right.
I almost never write reviews but this app is amazing. The customer support and user experience are so good, I’ve recommended it to 20+ ppl
Copilot Money has a clean interface and some useful features, but I’m giving it 2 stars because it still feels too limited compared to competitors. A major missing feature is the ability to manually import transactions via XLS/Excel. This should be a basic option, especially for users whose banks are not supported or who want to manage historical data properly. There are also still many missing integrations, and the app feels very US-focused. Competitors already offer broader bank connections, better manual import options, and wider international support. The app has potential, but until XLS import, more integrations, and proper international expansion are added, it is difficult to rely on it as a complete finance management tool.
This app completely changed for the better the way my family budgets. It is such an intuitive app and makes it so easy to keep track of a number of accounts and cards at once
Requires you enter in a password that doesn’t exist. The Website help guide says “it uses Magic links” for login in and they have temporarily restricted the option to use a traditional password. Definitely an unethical bait and switch maneuver. When you try to contact customer support it a useless chat bot that can’t fix the issue. I’m sure they got rid of their tier one support team and replace it with this ineffective AI chat agent. Then you have to then wait a day for a human support agent to get back to you, what an unnecessary headache just to delete an account .
If you want your banking data handled by a company that couldn't be bothered to provide a basic security attestation (SOC 2 for instance), good luck to you. I deleted before connecting any accounts.
They are not able to synch my credit cards correctly. Their support is working on a solution for over 2 months now and it gets just worse. Still don’t see my individual credit payments, the balances are not correct, some accounts are shown multiple times (and balances are included in the analysis) and some days it shows plenty of additional loans that don’t exist. Meaning that all numbers and analysis in the app are wrong 🤯 I asked for a cancellation and refund of the subscription since they are not delivering, but they denied. They “offered” 1 free month, which was removed once I cancelled the subscription. Clearly I am not interested to pay another year for a useless app. Am very disappointed by the way support treats me.
The app is great. But every day I get a request to submit a review. That’s why I’m giving it one star.
I’ve been using this for over a year now and it has changed the way I handle my finances. I know exactly what’s coming in and what’s coming out, I can spot trends before they get out of control, and make smarter financial decisions. I’ve also really enjoyed growing my net worth using this. If you’re anybody who cares about improving your financial situation, this tool is a must have.
I know every app has its flows so I keep this one but it annoys me sometimes. A few times it posted the transactions twice so I’m not sure how can I trust it. They help me to delete them but if I didn’t spot it wouldn’t be accurate.
Love the app, but I receive the “Write a Review” message seemingly every day. Dropped my rating solely for this reason.
Mostly great, just some features I wish were added. Would like to see my net worth graph able to show my entire time using the app over many years, not just 1 year. Help with motivation to keep using the app, budgeting, and saving money. Would like it to sync with Bilt-UWM Mortgages. However, it does work well really well with syncing to many banks and other institutions, very customizable to manage different categories. I do recommend it.
The app works very well overall, great visibility to spending details. I appreciate the recurring but often have to manually tag the transaction. I think the dashboard lags at times and I’m not always sure if overdue recurring remain as “spent” on the month if you don’t bump the date out.
Great app. Easy to understand and track. Many transactions are already categorized for you making it easier to budget
App was great until Schwab stopped connecting. Reverification fails. I tried removing the connection and it won’t re-add either. Support is completely unhelpful. Seriously considering quitting my subscription after years of being a loyal customer.
I’ve used copilot for years. I’m happy with it, but I’m annoyed at the persistent review requests. Every time I open the app I get a pop up to write a review.
I’ve not used other budget apps to compare and contrast but Copilot is excellent. Really great UI, helps me stay on top of my expenses, credit cards and investments in one screen. I love the ability to compare previous years data and understand the trends on different areas.
Unfortunately, they don’t support upgrade prosper Webull and a few other services I use so only about half of my accounts are actually on this
I absolutely love copilot! It’s exactly what every other app never provided! A clear way to allocate different types of expenses and a great way to understand a payment or an internal transfer. The support has also been so helpful for any questions or issues!
A finance app that is finally setup in a way that actually makes sense. I like how the app makes a very well best guess about what category each transaction should go into, but love that I still have a transaction list to manually review on a weekly basis.
Software has so many bugs and makes mistakes because it’s powered by AI. Renders it completely useless.
I love the app. However, please stop pestering me for a rating everytime I log in. I rated it 5 stars each time until I got more and more annoyed. Why keep asking for a rating when I’ve already put 5 stars? Guess what, 1 star now. App is great, stop pestering me.
Makes it easy to track.
I love using CoPilot. It does a great job of providing a complete financial picture of your assets and debits. Also makes tax season much easier
Can’t add certain institutions even though support is working on it. I can’t with my whole chest justify paying money for this if I can’t add the institution and I’m not adding it manually. Like what would i being paying for then
I love this app. It has helped me track every single dollar that moves in and out of my accounts. It has been a tool I’ve used to survive financial situations I otherwise wouldn’t have, and it helps me manage debt. It is worth every penny of the $100/year. This app is truly an investment
I am not a rich man so I have to monitor my family’s spending. This does a PERFECT job in helping me know where we are spending our money and how much we can spend. Thank you, Copilot.
I really enjoy this app because it lets me practice my budgeting without a daily spreadsheet. It’s very good and I like the platform — easy to use
The AMEX connection stopped working and both support from Amex and Copilot and plaid the connection that makes it happen. The app has not been helpful so I haven’t been able to connect Amex, which has made the app unusable, even though I’ve spent the yearly subscription.
It is difficult to go backwards with an upgrade, but somehow, Copilot did it. I am ready to cancel my membership and start all over with another finance app. The interface now looks like something from 1990 and everything is clunky and slow. Horrible work by developers
I’ve now been using Copilot for almost one year, I am a small business owner and I invest in the stock market monthly. I love being able to create categories that are not included in my monthly spend. I have personally never kept up with most budget trackers. This one is different. Has everything I need including different types of budget categories (like rollover ones) & Customer Support is AMAZING. Highly recommended.
Excellent tool to keep up with expenses!
I’ve been very happy with this app so far. I’ve tried several different ones over the years. I always liked Mint the best, but they couldn’t keep up with the security changes at all of the big financial institutions. I’d been bouncing around in the years since until I found Copilot, and now I’m getting my family’s financial management back on track!
Highly recommend this app - gorgeous design, Birds Eye views + deep dives, and having the ability to track manual/offline accounts is helpful. Subscriptions are worth it - no shady data selling.
I have been using Copilot for three years now and I genuinely don’t know what I would do without it. I is easy to use and keeps me organized.
So far I’m able to enter, correct, monitor, all with more intuitive controls.
I think we had an excel spreadsheet, pouring over countless lines of expenses and various apps to check balances. Copilot honestly makes managing funds a lot easier. What used to be hours of review now is done in minutes in bed on a random Saturday morning.
It’s OK. Just OK. I really miss MINT. Here I have to force connections every day to get the updated value and balance of my numbers. Not very convenient. Just decent enough to keep all your numbers in one place but have in mind it’s not really live sync with a lot of institutions. I’m considering not renewing it.
Works great, will continue to use.
Have been using this app since 2019 and it has always been my most used app. If you are serious about your finances and want to track things then this is the app for that.
Best app on my phone, great features, amazing support. They clearly listen and care about their users. Worth every penny and I recommend it to everyone who can afford it.
This app is great at being a one stop shop for all of my finance accounts. Love the use of machine learning to recognize the name of purchases and automatically categorize them! Automatic budget calculation is also a really great feature. Can’t wait to see what new updates are in store! My only worry is privacy and safety when linking so many institutions to one app.
And many other small issues. Waste of money
Been using the app for 9 months. Keeps me aware of everything I spend on businesses and personal expenditures. Recently I was able to flag small odd charge in March and a repeat in May. It was someone using my credit card and trying to stay under the radar. I probably would have missed it if not for the transaction review practice with this app. Was refunded and a new card issued. Have also been able to save more money with the goals settings and general awareness of spending habits.
Downloaded, synced up, well, sync part of my account up, no flow through the categories and not even close to tracking all transactions
This app has helped my personal finance journey stay smooth and effortless
I added all my accounts manually which took about an hour. When I tried progressing, it wanted to charge me. There’s no free version and it doesn’t tell you that it’s a paid subscription app. If it told me from the beginning that I wouldn’t have been able to use the app without paying, then I wouldn’t have wasted an entire hour for no reason.
10/10, causes arguments with wife constantly.
This would be an incredible app if not for its reliance on Plaid for a significant portion of its functionality. Given Plaid’s track record, there’s no chance that I’ll use it to connect my accounts, and having a partial overview of my financial situation isn’t worth $95 a year. Even in cases where alternatives like Akoya are available, Copilot hasn’t shown much interest in integrating them except when forced to (shoutout to Fidelity for taking a hard line on this—hopefully others follow suit). Until Copilot reduces its reliance on partners who treat privacy as little more than marketing fluff, it’s unfortunately impossible to recommend.
After trying dozens of money management apps after Mint’s implosion, I landed on what best fit my needs through Copilot Money. Excited for their roadmap, they are shipping high quality features and it shows in their work
The design of the user interface is like nothing out there. It’s just beautiful to look at. It’s the most useful app available. If you want to be in control of your money it’s well worth, WELL WORTH, the money! Great job Copilot team! The customer service is amazing too.
This app is awesome. My 1 stop shop of all my finances. It is missing a built in AI feature to find purchases and create budgets.
Copilot Money has genuinely transformed how I understand and manage my finances. I need simple, visible, accurate data, decision ready and not overwhelming with options. This is it. For the first time in a long time I have the right information to take action, make real decisions, and most importantly, I can trust that what I am seeing is accurate. Real-time balance updates that actually work and give insights have been a game changer. Also, the budget by category where I can see a simple red or green for insights at a glance are so useful. What sets Copilot Money apart from every other finance app I have tried is their support team. Every issue and question I have encountered has been handled by great documentation and their AI guidance and when needed, in super fast response I have to say directly by a real human, with genuine kindness and thoughtfulness, within 24 hours. That level of care is rare and it creates real product trust. If you are serious about understanding your finances and want a tool that grows with you, this is it. Worth every penny.
Doesn’t work at all. UI is absolutely atrocious. Complete waste of time setting up accounts because it doesn’t track half of them.
My favorite budgeting app! Works well and has ongoing updates and great support. Love that the dev team supporting this continues to improve and keep things bug free.
I love this app. It’s worth every penny
I feel there is more focus on aesthetics than function with this app. The budgeting was too convoluted for my taste.
The app is very polished and I love it. However, it can't be trusted for tracking your finances - especially investments and accounts. Cash sweep accounts are double-booked so it misstates (inflates) your account values. I have had like 3 tickets open over about 6 months and the Copilot team has been unable to resolve the defect.
This is almost a good product. But out of the box two features ended my time with it. First, you cannot bulk rename transactions—e.g., my gas purchases come in with the store number such as Arco #134. I want to search for all transactions with “Arco” in the name and rename them all to do that. Nope. Can’t do it. This might be tolerable if you could set up rules to automatically rename transactions when downloaded. Nope. Can’t do it. These are such basic capabilities that I worry about what harder, more important features I’ll find missing later. The product is worth keeping an eye on, but isn’t usable now if you have a lot of transactions.
This is the best budgeting app I have ever used. Great cistomer support with prompt responses to the queries as I was learning the functionality and product. Highly recommend.
I've been using this app daily for over a year. It works but here are my complaints: - Transactions recently started getting duplicated, requiring a lot of manual cleanup. - It's not possible to skip forward to future months for planning ahead. - Automatic categorization of transactions only works half the time. It never seems to "learn" which transactions go where, even on recurring transactions with stable amounts and dates. - Recurring transactions are frequently mislabeled as standard, causing constant managing. - UI is generally unintuitive and confusing. Setting up new recurring transactions is a nightmare workflow. Overall I think Everydollar is much more polished for a similar price.
I bought this app based on the “AI” it contained. The price was very high but I bought in. Bad move. $100/year for nothing more than is available for free. Typical marketing scheme gimmick. Never again. Update: they replied claiming some “AI” used in predicting categories. Avoid this scam. Terrible use of the advertisement. Unlikely they even are US based.
i’ve been using Copilot for a couple years now and I really love it. It helps me gain a much better sense of my spending habits and keeping me constantly watching my money. The AI features to help categorize and sort are pretty good however I do find that I have to re-sync my banks and cards quite often. Plus, I also need to rename and re-categorize some of my recurring because they seem to change the name or forget what they are to do, so there is a little bit of maintenance. It’s not completely completely automated, but it’s damn close.
I’ve been using copilot a long time now but have noticed it’s missing transactions from my Wells Fargo credit card. Also, I’ve tried using the hashtag in my Venmo requests and it doesn’t categorize those. Venmo integration needs to be improved.
10/10 app def worth the price, but does not connect to Sam’s credit card so I can’t see my groceries unless I pay my Sam’s Club card off with my debit card. Not bad at all though, don’t regret this subscription at all !
App isn’t free and makes you pay just to use it without providing a free version
I would like to be able to see my monthly budget for 12 mos forward as you know your budget moves month to month
I have Revolut and Chase half of my things are on Revolut and after all the process Revolut is not available…what is the point of this app if the main provider are not available.
After 2 years of being a paid member, I will be moving this month and not renewing my subscription. The app is great, and it was perfect for when I was a beginner. It does a beautiful job tracking expenses, and showing you where your money is going. However, there are not many budgeting features, aside from simple monthly category budgets. No shared budget, debt payoff features, or advanced planning options.
I am a developer, and I’m really impressed by their responsive and proactive support! I accidentally added duplicate instances of my accounts. They reached out before i noticed and asked if ai meant to do that since it would cause some issues. They have helped with other things as well. Always in a timely and helpful manner!
The best financial tracker out there.. I’ve had it for 5+ years. It’s had a massive impact on where I am today financially. Get your money up. Download copilot.
Even though I pay I get constant review requests interrupting me and my productivity. Very costly
I gave it a try and ran into way too many problems. Account linking process was unclear and glitchy. When it finally populated my data I was unable to assign new categories to the transactions. That made it unusable for a budgeting tool so I gave up after several hours.
I’ve wasted money on this Mac app for several years. Just tried to figure out what i’m paying on insurance. well guess what. it doesn’t notice all my Blueshield payments as insurance (or any category). So i try and select all in transactions and assign to insurance category. guess what doesn’t work. impossible. and even after making a rule (using partial match) doesn’t detect and assign category to the transactions. this app is bugged and really dumb. last year i waste money on this garbage. Cancelled.
I’ve been using Copilot for years and it saves me SO much money. I now know where every cent goes every single month. No more of those moments where you go “Where tf did all my money go?” This thing pays for itself within 1 month and the peace of mind it brings me is insane.
Deserves 6 starts. Very WELL-MADE app. So good I had to write a review. Their ads used to mention “if Apple made a budgeting app”, and it’s true - this app is so well designed and built that it feels like it comes standard on the iPhone. ACCOUNT LINKING (bank, credit card, loans, investments, 401k, etc.) is smooth and transactions are reflected in the app quickly. AI learns to automatically categorize your expenses into certain budgets and is accurate ~95% of the time. CUSTOMER SERVICE for questions is very quick and typically get a response from a team member within a couple of hours. Cross-device SYNCING works flawlessly.
Amazon integration needs work, missing features id like to see around car valuation, automatic tagging, etc.
Its a good app that pulls the right data and its well priced. But how they show you that data and more importantly how you customize that data is sub below par. Can't remove/hide items in their navigation bar and also can't add custom budgets for categories (or rather its hard af to figure out how to)
I was having a hard time keeping track of all my accounts and all my different transactions. Now with this app, I can see everything I can manage many different things and set different goals. Look at recurrent transactions and begin strategy to save more money every month.
Def worth the subscription fee
I’m retired and wanted to be sure I was capturing every expense properly. I linked my Ccards, investments even the equity from in my home for net worth purposes. Now can easily review every transaction and catch items that I need to manage better. Support is second to none. Good stuff.
I love everything about this app with the exception of two things that prevent me from giving it a 5 star review. 1. Giving someone like a partner access is not easy at all. It’s not collaborative friendly. 2. Lots of little glitches and bugs drive me crazy.
every time i open this app now it asks for app store feedback. i thought apple limited the amount you could do that
I really liked the AI part that categorized my transactions quickly. It takes a long time on Rocket Money. The connectivity is really bad though. Like half of my accounts won’t even connect to the app. All of my accounts are on Rocket Money. Some of them I tried for hours & some aren’t available at all.
Easy to use, and very well made UI. Love it thus far
I have used this app for a few years now and I really liked it. But for the past six months or it’s started to categorize my credit card payments as income and not as regular out going transactions. It’s very annoying. I disconnected and reconnected the accounts several times with no success. This is an important feature for me. Amazon keeps disconnecting all the time as well. Other than that the app is great.
I have been a subscriber to Copilot since 2019. It’s exciting to see how many new features have rolled out in recent years, however with all the changes the app is beginning to lose its core value due to functionality issues. Instead of developing more new features, I suggest the Copilot team focus on fixing issues with existing ones.
I test drove this and Monarch side by side and imo Copilot is the way to go. Cash flow, net worth, and individual investment tracking is excellent. And it’s a far better visual which isn’t a small thing imo. The Category or Budget section is excellent as well, and it didn’t take long at all to customize. Then it learns your behavior very quickly and nearly takes over. The “Smart Wand” or AI budget balancing feature is beautiful. It’s nice to adjust and shift the category budgets mid-month without affecting the overall budget.
I love being able to track my money so easily. It helps me stay in my budget!
Displays net worth which is a plus. Tracks debt but doesnt allow you to add value of vehicles or anything. Still pretty good
I’ve tried soo many different finance apps and nothing was giving me the level of organization and customizeability that I wanted. I had resorted to manually inputting things into a linked excel until I found this. It’s everything I was looking for. And their help chat is actually helpful, unlike most auto answer chats.
Could be really useful if i could figure out how to change the budgets. to a simple person just trying to manage a simple budget, this was not user friendly to figure out. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to of back and delete certain budget sections, and theres so many categories on the main page i had no idea what it was telling me about my finances. Just, no. I miss the old Mint finances app. That was extremely straight forward and user friendly. This app is set up kind of like that which is why i downloaded the app but this is like a way more complicated version. Finances dont need to be this difficult
Works great for me. I’m a fan. I tried a couple of free systems before this and always struggled with their ability to analyze both the small and big picture of my finances. Also, the ability to keep my accounts connected varied, which works pretty effortlessly with this app.
I do like the app, but I’ve had to reconnect my bank accounts multiple times a day
This is the best of all the finance apps! Solid connections and beautiful UI.
There are only a few things you have to get right when it comes to a budgeting app; And sadly, one of them - integration of your financial institutions - is not well executed on this app. Specifically, they are seemingly highly reliant on 3rd party integrations. When those go down (at a frequency of: A LOT) you are blind to your money trail through the app. Meanwhile, this team has seemingly no control of the outcome towards resolve and no means of updating their users of timelines or expectations. If you are not OK with having various bank connections falter for weeks or months on end from time to time, this app is not for you.
This developer team is locked in. Really well organised.
Great app. Helps me budget my expenses. I wish the app had a credit score function to track related inquires and a loans feature to help me to track my student loans. Currently the app has issues connecting with student loan providers like advantage.’
I have tried to use multiple budgeting apps, Rocket Money, Dollar Wise, Monarch, etc., etc. and they do not allow me to personalize your budget as this one to have full control with a simple use.
This app is incredible and has made my budgeting and financial planning super simple. The ONLY issue. Plaid sucks. My accounts keep disconnecting and I always have to link them again. I’ll probably buy the pro version but they need to find a software better than Plaid or something. Keep up the good work. Overall the UI and simplicity is on point.
This app looks nice, but it’s inflexible, unclear, and not user-friendly. The help content is extensive but disorganized and often off-topic. It’s hard to make adjustments or corrections, add accounts from the same bank, and the logic for transfers, internal transfers, and credit card payments is confusing. I canceled my subscription and delete the account after 9 months of honest use.
Please stop asking me to review the app every 5 minutes it’s very frustrating and it only resulted in you getting a lower review.
Wish it was more affordable but it’s a good app.
There’s no way to rename everyday transactions or create rules based on amounts unless it’s recurring. There’s a bunch of numbers and letters following the merchant and even with recurring it doesn’t always recognize it. Other apps use ai this way. Why not Copilot?
Absolutely amazing, I love it! Thank you
Tons of bugs. Customer service doesn’t help you and transactions will duplicate and you have to erase manually. There is a lot bugs with trying edit categories, and I tried to fix it all but it started wasting more time than being beneficial. I wouldn’t encourage anyone to spend their money on this platform.
What good is a money management program if you can’t import your past financial records. It may be pretty, etc. but it’s worthless until you use it for a couple of years and have a history for analysis.
No offline or personal access unless you use the demo. Otherwise MUST go online and sign up for yet another account + password for you to be tracked and to get hacked or leaked.
I love copilot, nice and easy to plug in all your accounts! Big help with fraud, seeing all transactions that go through your accounts. Highly recommended getting this app. Worth every penny!
Love the clean interface of the app and it’s so easy to use, definitely would recommend!!!!
I downloaded the app and starting setting things up, then it asked me to pay a obscene subscription for the basic use of an app that most use to save money. I do not wish to use the money that I would more than likely be trying to save on an app that should be free. I understand trying to make ur buck from the app but it really feels greedy and feels out of touch. Please at least make it cheaper like $5 a month.
Spending investment
very informative
Copilot is the best money managing app I’ve tried but it’s still only fine. It could be great but they just don’t really seem to be improving it. I didn’t use the word budgeting because that feature is an absolute mess – the UX makes no sense. There’s a bunch of small annoyances all over the app (like the fact that you can’t filter by year; instead you have to manually select all 12 months individually). It’s also very hard to set rules so I end up categorizing tons of tiny interest payments individually. I’ll probably stick with it for now but if they don’t fix this stuff I’m sure a better alternative will pop up.
Any complex budgeting, not even too complex, the UX breaks. Whoever your designers are, they need more training to understand what intuitive is
Maybe this works well for others but it categorizes my direct deposit paycheck (same amount, every two weeks, PPD ACH) as an Insurance payment. So basically it underrepresents my income by about 95% and over represents my expenses by 200%. You can then imagine the quality of the budgeting. It looks nice and seems to have a lot of bells and whistles but if it can’t block and tackle, this app Is a loser.
Best budget app I’ve ever used I’m ok with the expense
This app changed how I handle my monthly budget. Syncing all my accounts means I can see every transaction in real time and actually know where my money is going. Their AI is useful to automate categorizations. And the UI is intuitive. It made it way easier to fix my spending habits and stay on top of my finances, which is exactly why I’m sharing my referral code (J3YETM) so we can both score free months :) The biggest win for me is how it keeps revolving credit in check. Having everything in one place makes it way harder to let revolving credits carry over to next month. The interest I saved easily pays for the subscription itself, probably several times over.
Zero stars if I could!
I am trying this app but I am not convinced. It claims to auto-analyze the transactions but it doesn’t, it creates rules to categorize the transactions but you cannot edit or modify the rules or create rules on demand. The budget items aren’t very intuitive, specially the income. Everything is an expense when you categorize it. I am trying to be generous, so I am giving the app another couple of days but so far not impressed.
Amazing UX, useful views, easy to use and make sense of
The app works great! When they came out with the web platform I reported a small issue and was fixed within the week. Fabulous service
I liked this app when I first started using it about a year ago. Unfortunately, after a few months my budget began randomly changing even when no new transactions were added. I contacted support and they acted like they were going to fix it, so I renewed for another year ($100). Six months later the issue is still not fixed. A budgeting app is useless if the numbers aren’t accurate. Support has been completely unhelpful — just generic responses with no real solution. They also refused to refund the renewal even though the core feature of the app is broken. I would strongly recommend avoiding this app. If you want a budgeting tool that actually works and has responsive support, go with YNAB instead.
Love this app! I’ve been using it for 4 years. Let’s me understand my spending and my overall financial position including my investments, mortgage, and house value. Very responsive support team is great as well!
Absolutely fantastic personal budget and money tracking tool. Works pretty well across devices, too, which is a HUGE plus. Adding accounts, getting started with an automatic budget that’s easy to customize, and visualizing finances available as well as spent at a glance are exceptionally easy and well laid out. The tool on my MACBOOK PRO M2 frequently has bugs leading to freeze up’s and forced restarts. Balance updates and changes across devices can be unexpectedly slow to show up - but we’re still talking minutes, not hours. All in all, I highly recommend COPILOT, and have enthusiastically convinced multiple family and friends to join the COPILOT list of users. The unexpected software freezes has also been noted now by those other family and friends - and usually when using COPILOT from different models of MACBOOK PRO - no idea why.
It’s great for tracking expenses but setting a budget doesn’t really work. The budgets you set get undone if you tap the auto budget. The auto budget isn’t very smart. Can’t look at average spending and can’t accommodate a monthly budget.
Hands down this is the best Money management app out there. I was a user of mint for 10+ years and loved it until intuit decomm’d it. This app is well worth the annual fee and id far superior than mint ever was.
It does not support my HSBC accounts. So I have to manually register my movements. It’s so frustrating.
I’ve been using this app for couple years, but now I’m deleting it because I’m tired of the glitches. Sometimes it doesn’t show the transaction, very often you need to reconnect your accounts and then the double transactions appear
Works well, with several minor bugs
This really helps me visualize my spending. I love the clean look of it too. Though other apps like Monarch have been pushing out many useful updates over the past year or two. Copilot seems to be stagnant with new updates right now. I hope that changes soon! Let’s see some cool new features!
Please bring back the speed the app used to have
I’ve been using this app for over 2 years now and LOVE it!! SOOOO much better than Mint before it was shut down. Copilot is easy to use and track all your money in one place—transactions, budget, financial goals, and investments. I recommend it to everyone I know for managing their finances.
I literally have no idea what this app is. I’m disabled and have no use for a budgeting app that cost $100 but they took out of my bank account when I request requested a refund for an app that the meditate is going to show that I’ve never used. They refused to give me my refund. It’s insane because I would never download a budgeting app when you live on $600 a month you know where every penny goes. The fact that the company doesn’t just see to it to give a refund to a person requesting a refund the day the charge is made obviously even if I had use the app I wouldn’t have been satisfied with the app otherwise I wouldn’t have done that, but you want to penalize people just for downloading the app. Oh you better remember to cancel your subscription on time or we’ll keep your money that’s lowdown.
I found a bug when using Copilot: when I delete a mortgage account, the transactions linked to that account aren’t fully removed. Instead, they remain in the system but are automatically marked as “excluded.” Expected behavior: deleting the account should completely remove all associated transactions, or at least prompt the user to choose what to do with them. This can be confusing because the transactions still affect records unless manually handled. Please fix this so account deletion works cleanly. I’ll change the review to 5 stars once this bug is fixed.
Update 3/26: Worried about this app. Lately I cannot review transactions and accounts don’t seem to update. I have the latest version, so that’s not it. There are also rarely any improvements. Regret I committed to this app. Not really too happy about this software. i have had it for over a year now and invested much time into it - but help is totally lacking, accounts lose connections, and there really isn’t that much one can do. Most of all, it does not seem to be improving.
Title is my review
Makes money tracking entertaining without distractions. I didn’t need help once. This is so easy to use and it looks great. They get a lot on the page.
Been using copilot ever since mint shut down their financial tracker and I’m glad I switched. Yeah it’s not free, but I feel like the value I get from it being able to manage all my money in one place is a godsend.
Used it for all of an hour or two. PayPal transactions populated as double charges. “Deleting” unwanted transactions to manually clean up that mess did not result in them being deleted. Removing accounts does not result in transactions from those accounts being deleted. Pretty big miss as far as I’m concerned. I’m glad I didn’t build it out more before discovering that issue. I very much wanted to love this app :(
I have tried all of the big name personal finance apps for the Apple eco system and, in my opinion, none offer a complete solution. I would like to be able to settle on a single app, and I feel like Copilot could be the one, except it is still missing some basic functions, like reporting and transfer of transactions between accounts. Now I have noticed the link to support has disappeared! Most unfortunate!
I’ve tried what feels like every budgeting app out there. Copilot is leaps and bounds above the rest! It’s so easy to use, it updates transactions quickly, it looks nice (which I think is important), and is affordable. Don’t waste any more time looking, you’ve found the only budgeting app you’ll need!
Unfortunately, there is a known issue with obtaining transactions from Discover CC. Every transaction was duplicated, making the entire app useless for me. Deleted after the first week. Hopefully they can fix this.
Man I am such a fan! I’ve been using this for over a year and a half. It works so well to put my finances in one single glass plane. It has an incredibly flexible budget, categorization, tags. Super impressed and I’ve been loving it! Shoutout to the team that’s working on this, you guys killed it!
Endless attempts. Connected to one bank only but was unable to download a single transaction. Could not even connect to rocket mortgage. Pretty sad
Nothing is Free about this App.
Great for tracking spending and setting budgets. Solids graphs to assess spend rate over time. Nice widgets too.
Been using this for a few years. Lately my bank has needed DAILY verification. This almost feels like it defeats the purpose of the app. It’s my husbands email with two factor authentication so I always have to ask him for the code, you get the idea. Love everything else about it.
Ive never been good with my money and I usually dread looking at my account balances. Copilot is easy to use, has me on top of my accounts and better organized than I ever have been before. Ive found hidden charges on accounts I was able to cancel, allocated my money in more advantageous ways, and paid off debt. It has paid itself off x5 in the first month alone. - Two suggestions: Incorporate a sankey flowchart, and allow more than one Amazon connection for couples who have separate accounts. Thanks!
At first, this app seemed like it was ahead of competitors. But obvious features have sat in their backlog for ages and the app has stagnated. Basic things are just annoying. For instance, you can’t perform filtering on an annual basis, so good luck adding all 12 months when you need to look at something annually. Adding each month individually then also blocks the category tags, so you’ll have to repeat those 30+ clicks every time you want to look at a different category annually. I’m ready to see what competitors have to offer.
Cumbersome to organize transactions
I’ve used Copilot for about two years and I’ve recommended it to friends and family (the ones who tried it love it too). The UI design is worthy of its awards and the app finally gives me a real one-stop view of all my personal finances without spending hours exporting transactions into excel. I have 24 linked accounts across cards, depository, and investments, including 9 investment accounts, and Copilot keeps it all in one place. I especially like that investments shows top movers across all accounts and lets me drill into holdings (shares and cost basis) as needed. Apple Card / Savings support is also a big win and why I got Copilot in the first place. CSV export is there when I need it, and the new web app fixed my only real complaint. For $99/year this is a steal. A small business oriented version would be interesting to see.
Just sucks I can’t connect my Cash App account because that literally all I use.
It started off well. A year ago, it was virtually the only app that had integration with the Apple finance ecosystem (Apple Card, Apple $, Apple Savings). Today, there are other options that achieve the same goal. My biggest complaint has been the integrations - they constantly break and I spent more time authorizing my accounts to sync than actually assessing my financial position. To be fair, nothing is perfect, but I found the whole direct integration, MX, and Plaid integration suite to be clunky and constantly break.
I’ve tried them all. From mint to rocket money etc. best by far. I’ve been using copilot for over two years.
This is my favorite app for tracking my finances and works great with all the insights I need
The app does what it does well and consistently maintains a connection to all of my financial institutions. It's extremely flexible and reliably syncs across all of my various devices. If there's one complaint I'd levy against the app it's the lack of reporting engine. I want to be able to do things like trend my spending by category and month, or find my the average category spend for the last month, quarter, 6 months, year, etc. You can get some of that through the app, but the limitations become apparent very quickly.
Love it! Easy to use. Really helped get our budget on track
Ya al segundo día sabía que estaré subscrito por mucho tiempo. Fácil, divertido y compatible con cuentas de banco que otros apps no provee. 5⭐️
Can not setup reoccurring income. Can not connect to synchrony accounts Can not connect to PayPal Can not rename multiple transactions at a time Can not create a rule to rename transactions Can not connect to any of my billers (insurance company, cable, etc.) Can not connect to multiple banks to which I have loans through. This is a sad attempt at an app, quicken is massivly better
Copilot has a great UI and highly responsive/helpful customer service. Any bugs or other issues have been promptly handled. Copilot has helped my wife and I keep a frequent, accurate pulse on our finances. Thanks to this app, we’ve been able to fund our dream wedding and buy our first home. Without the convenience of tracking our income, spending habits, and savings balances all in one place, I don’t think it would’ve been possible. It also has caught dozens of charges that were not authorized, which has saved us at least $2,000 over the past 3-4 years. Copilot is a major reason for our financial stability and successes
Easy to use and understand app for budgeting
The best breakdown and line items ever. Clean, clear and very precise.
Awesome app. Easiest most intuitive design. I love it!
I wish this app leaned into the debt aspect more with options like the snowball or avalanche to pay off debt.
This software is the best budgeting application bar none. All in one inclusive and very user friendly.
Ridiculous!! Trying to get some annual reporting, comparisons, trending, budgeting…,, so frustrated right now, as have had for a couple years of data input, had job change, and trying relook at my financials and do comparative detail reporting - and nothing!!!
Terrible application, signed up for a year subscription and haven’t been able to get any results.
The best subscription ever paid
I call it all in one finance app. I especially like that you can keep track of everything from investments to bank account, track spending and cash flow. Easy to use and detailed. I can’t even complain with the monthly fee but wish it was lower hehe
I’ve been a user of copilot for almost 3 years now. I *loved* this app. But in the past month or so the data in the app stopped refreshing, and even the support team doesn’t seem to know what to do about it. This is unacceptable, and makes the app pretty much useless - especially for something I’m paying $95 a year for. Please fix the app, and I’ll update the review.
I really like the app but I feel the UI could use a refresh, especially the on screen widgets. They’re plain and lackluster
I used to use Mint back in the day before the Credit Karma merger destroyed the platform. Copilot has nicely filled the gap for me as far as a budget app goes. I love seeing all of my accounts under one roof, and it makes it so I never miss a payment or a bill. As for the subscription, I believe $95/year is well worth the cost of getting your finances in line.
Took my spending from $1400 a month to under $700
Starting with Quicken in the 1990s, I’ve tried unsuccessfully to make every personal finance app work for me. In one way or another, they all fell short and became too annoying and more trouble than they were worth. The creators of Copilot have worked out all the bugs. I’ve been using Copilot for almost three years now and have only good things to say.
This tool helps our family each month stay on budget. Easily saves us 5x the $95 annual fee by steering decisions to stay within our means.
My husband and I use this app and it helps us stay so organized when it comes to financial planning and monthly budgeting. It has really helped us get on the same page and is the best tool for our monthly money reviews!
Copilot is the bomb. I’ve used Quicken and Tiller in the past, and this is so much better than both. Easy to learn, and maintain. Being able to review transactions on my iPhone, iPad or Mac is so easy and convenient. Highly recommend this app
Copilot has completely changed the way I think about money. From day-to-day spending to long-term financial planning, it's made everything clearer, more intentional, and actually enjoyable to manage. The design is beautiful, the insights are genuinely useful, and it's the one app I open regularly without friction. I also had the chance to meet the Copilot team at a happy hour last year—great people building a great product. Easily my favorite finance app.
Up
I’ve tried numerous apps and all seemed to fall short for me. I spent way too much time trying to categorize them but copilot made this much easier. It also works really well with Fidelity, Schwab, Amex and Venmo which are not traditional banks. The rollover feature is also helpful as monthly spending is never consistent, another area that other apps struggled with.
It’s not a stretch for me to say I cannot live without this app 😂. It puts me in full visibility and control of my finances across all of my accounts. I’ve been using it for over a year now and each time I meet with a financial advisor they’re unable to tell me anything I cannot already see within this tool. 10/10 for me.
I enjoy the customization, stellar interface, and it’s great. Perfect, no notes.
If you want clarity and to be able to see your finances in one snap shop, this is your app. I have tried them all and no one does it better than copilot. I tell everyone I can about. Don’t believe me? They even offer a free test sandbox environment - genius!!! The time for credit card transactions to show up in the app is same day (most apps aren’t) you can see all transaction which cards they were spent on, create automated budgets, see your net worth an investment performances. As you can see I am a fan. Simply put, this is a game changer for how my household manages finances.
Watch out storage usage. Copilot on my MAC used up all of my remaining storage of 80 GB. It keeps increase 2 or 3 GB every day and eventually MAC stops working.
5 stars it’s private and lets me know how much I have
Thanks to this app I feel totally in control of my financial life. Tracking spending, recurring expenses, savings goals, and just having all of my credit cards/bank account information in one, easy to use and intuitive space gives me the peace of mind I need to make informed financial decisions. They have great customer support as well!
This has become an indispensable tool for my life and business. If you have multiple accounts and need that top level perspective to stay on top of your finances, do not hesitate. The yearly fee is worth every penny.
Posting my first review of an app ever because I am such a huge fan of this app. I’ve been using it for years to monitor my spending, saving, investing, and debt. I have such a better handle on my finances now and it’s because I can monitor everything in one place. I cannot recommend this app enough to anyone who wants or needs to keep a better eye on their money.
I have tried every major budgeting app on the market, and this one is the best despite two pain points. If these could be solved, I would be the happiest budgeter on the planet. The possibility to log transactions in different currencies. Ideally, they can be converted to dollar amounts with corresponding average exchange rates for the week/month. 😊 Connection with Revolut - largest con. Besides that, thank you for this great app. Worth the cost.👌 Edit: when can we connect with foreign bank accounts ?? Such a limit to only have USD !!!
I find the app to be helpful in visualizing your expenses but beyond that there is no other benefit to justify the price of the annual subscription. It’s a glorified tool that connects through the plaid service. The Amazon integration is great in theory but barely works and requires constant reverification with your credentials. I’m really struggling to figure out all the hype around this app other than the visual appearance.
Highly recommend if you're moving away from mint!
The YNAB’s, the Simplifi’s, the Monarch’s. You name it, I’ve used it. So far, for me, Copilot is the everyday finance tool. I love the user interface, the functionality is superb, it connects to my accounts flawlessly and the support has been outstanding. It’s not perfect, but not a single product out there is. You’ll find some things you don’t like, but overall, this one is a keeper.
When I first got a salary, I needed a way to track my money, I had looked into a few apps and landed on Copilot. It's got a really clean user interface and once set up properly to your monthly bills/spending habits, it is incredibly helpful. I'm very cautious and frugal with my hard earned money and I want to achieve financial independence at a young age, and Copilot helps me stay within my spending limits and shows me where I'm spending too much. In 2025 I was able to save 41% of my after tax income and I live completely on my own in Denver. Overall great app. Only downside is I wish they had a non-Apple compatible version I could use on my Dell PC
Cool app with powerful features, but not great for those with investment accounts. There is no transaction information associated with investment accounts, which means that direct deposit contributions into those accounts can’t be included in overall income. This makes cash flow data inaccurate. Their workaround is to add a manual depository account and enter investment contributions into that account so that they are included in income, but there is no support for automatic recurring deposits in a manual depository account. That means that direct deposits into investment accounts have to be manually added to the depository account every time they occur. That’s just too much manual work on too frequent a basis for this app to provide the value it promises.
When my previous finance app decided to drop real-time monitoring capabilities… I was forced to transition to a new app. Lucky for me.. I didn’t just transition, I upgraded. Copilot Money is hands down the best app on my phone. It’s the only app I’ve ever used that allows you to drill down to the penny on every expense, balance, cost, bill, you name it. If you’re a fan of ‘nerding out’ on your financial picture… and enjoying the capability to create categories for spending using emojis (!)… this is the app for you. I can’t recommend it enough. Congrats to the Copilot team for building something special and shoutout to them for always being available to answer questions!!
I love copilot. My wife has started using it too. It’s perfect for obsessive control freaks like me.
Too much work and support won’t even help.
I was never satisfied with other solutions over the years. They were too limited or too complex, buggy, and/or shared way too much about me in exchange for free access. With Copilot monitoring all my accounts, including investments, I’m finally feeling at home. However, one missing feature that I was shocked by is the inability to view, let alone manage rules that you create to automatically categorize and tag transactions. You have to contact support if you want to remove or change a rule! With rules being invisible once created, it’s difficult if not impossible to remember them all. That’s a huge gap in functionality. I may remove a star from my Copilot rating unless there’s progress on filling this gap soon. UPDATE: A year later and no communication whatsoever on the promised UI for editing or even viewing existing transaction name rules. Removing one star for every year Copilot Money developers fail to rectify this major shortcoming.
I wanted an app to track my spending, investments and overall net worth. I’ve been using it for over 2 years now and it’s life changing. The graphs and analysis are beautiful. I’m able to see exactly where all my spend is going and plan for my future. I’d recommend this app to anyone.
The app has literally been the same in the last 2 years during my subscription. If you’re not improving the app in any shape and form, why would anyone pay for a subscription? It's hilarious that the developer brags about “adding cash flow/goals/ipad app” as worth charging the subscription. Dude, these are very basic functions that even Excel spreadsheets can handle. Do you seriously think you deserve to charge over $150 (2-year subscription) from each user for these basic functions?!
This app is enjoyable to use and looks very nice. However, the developers are being very stubborn about adding even the smallest improvements that are most helpful in using the app. There’s a lack of the ability to print reports and even manage multiple transactions with a few key strokes, whether you’re on the iPhone or the desktop. I’m very disappointed in the lack of interest in making critical upgrades to this application. Certainly their subscription costs should justify it. Perhaps they should move out of Manhattan where the rents are too high.
There’s a bit of a learning curve but really love the quick response time of support!
A solid and pretty beautiful budgeting app that’s got some tech issues. For several weeks now, the Copilot app has been unable to sync with my mortgage company. Not a huge deal, but it does make but the numbers that I see inaccurate. I reached out to Copilot customer care and they had no clue as to when the problem would be solved.
tried to correspond with app developers, but couldn’t get the help function to work - one nice feedback mechanism they have is to allow you to vote on prospective development ideas - unfortunately on my iPhone this just kept loading and loading. Nonetheless, I like the app — another curiosity though., a kind of a complication between terminology like “recurring” and “subscriptions” - it seems subscriptions are recurring by default, but some things like monthly car insurance or electric bills, which are in fact, subscriptions of a sort confuse the issue. and subscriptions should not be an exclusive (separate ) category, but a modifier of the main categories.
I’m just tired of waiting for them to let us categorize income and assign expenses to a type of income… last time using them unfortunately
This is a fantastic app that is intuitive, easy to use and meets all my budgeting needs. However, the big downside is that the integrations with financial institutions sometimes break. Currently my connection to my Chase accounts has been broken for a week. It took customer support two days to answer my message, they offered a suggestion that didn’t work and now they are not answering messages. So I’m taking two stars off. I really hope they can get this fixed or I will probably have to cancel my subscription. This is a pretty critical issue to not have a major financial institution integration like Chase not working and not fix it for over a week.
So helpful for tracking spending and staying on a budget. The way to app shows if you are track for the month or not makes not spending just as much of a dopamine rush as spending can. Live that charges show up automatically but you still have to approve. Nice to be able to edit amounts if needed (like you bought and a friend is paying you back). Yes, the app costs money, but it has saved me so much more than the yearly rate
This software looks nice from the bird's eye view. Unfortunately, for anything to run smoothly and automated tracking to be useful, everything has to go thru Plaid. Well guess what? Plaid doesn't connect to my credit union, doesn't connect to either of the financial institutions my loans are thru, doesn't connect to my credit card, doesn't connect to PayPal either. Manually tracking everything in this app becomes a nightmare rather quickly since a chunk of it's actual efficiency seems to revolve around those external connections. Oh well. The company that produced this software at least made something that looks pretty, It's really a shame I personally can't get much use out of it.
Really wanted to like it. Biggest issues, in iOS 26, when you try to add an account the interface doesn’t play nice with the passwords app. It keeps dropping the cursor back onto the plaid page and pulls you out of the passwords app so you can’t search for the correct credentials. Had to exit copilot, copy the Pw from the app separately, then go back in and try to log into my bank again. Also in Recurrings, I couldn’t just click “not recurring”. It offered me that button for the first one but not for any transaction after that. It was cataloging way too many transactions as recurring when they obviously were not. Going to try another budgeting app. Too many bugs in this one.
Since using Copilot, knowing what’s happening with my finances doesn’t feel like a chore anymore. It’s easy and lightweight, keeps me aware of the month’s trajectory to make early decisions and stay on track. It cuts out noise of recurring bills to keep me focused on what I need to know. Then it gives a separate view of recurring bills, which I’ve been able to use to find wasted money. This is the tool I needed.
I started out liking Copilot Money. I was a user of Mint and Copilot was very smooth to setup and seemed to work great. Eventually one of your bank accounts will have an issue with the integration. Once that happens, you’re gone for. The transactions for debt started coming over as income and vice versa. Their fix was to disconnect and reconnect. That posed its own, unfixable problems. It doubled up on many transactions, especially income. Here’s the kicker - Copilot then doesn’t let you delete those duplicate transactions. No choice but to leave. They are blaming it on the integration, but their own UI also doesn’t function properly. This is UNUSABLE. Try something else
I’ve used YNAB for years, gave this a try a couple years ago but didn’t stick. Now, I’m switching over. It’s a lot less work than YNAB but provides a lot better insights so I’m able to make better, more meaningful decisions. Only complaint is Fidelity’s connection is a little slow but this is entirely Fidelity’s fault.
It’s good at setup and automatically pulling data. Reporting is just poor. 1 year reporting always shows 11 months. There’s no ability to drill into categories based on the time period. Somehow the time period changes as you drill into. I wanted to like this but unfortunately I think this app remains poor due to lack of focus and I am parting ways to get to monarch money instead
I’m just setting up my budgets now and I’m honestly excited to use them. Which I’ve never said before!
Best budget app, been using it for 4 years now. Love it, makes everything so damn easy. Stop being cheap.
I cancelled my subscription and they are still trying to renew it for a full year at 102.60. Now I can’t download anything or log back into the account to get in touch with them. So frustrating!
Not simple at all. Too much work to set template. Does not track accurately
This app is very useful for 3 of these uses 1. Auto assigned categories and learning to self categorize after 30 days of learning 2. I love how it shows only money left to use after all future recurring expenditures 3. Ease of use and customization + great customer support. Would love to see following improvements: 1. AI chatbot that will provide personalized response that can help me quickly understand how and where I spend money. (will be a great value add) 2. Ability to filter transactions by “year” and not just by “month” 3. Ability to filter cash flows by “custom” time period. Currently, only available options are YTD, MTD, 4W and 1Y. Concerns: I have noticed one or two transactions missing from certain accounts however good to have ability to manually create them as a backup.
The aesthetics and interface are pretty satisfying but i find that it doesn’t have in-depth features for money tracking and the fact that it doesn’t have income categories was a deal breaker and caused me to abandon the trial and delete my account a few days in. For the price of the membership i would expect less holes in functionality, monarch is similarly priced and has a lot more features though i am still looking at testing more apps before i settle on a tracker
I used copilot for a year and I enjoyed it. The UI is amazing and there’s no argument there but compared to others the features are lacking. The other app for the same price have so many more features and they use AI. I don’t see CP doing that anytime soon. They have been slow to roll out features and communicate. If you are going to charge a premium price you need to have premium features.
I wanted to love this so bad, but there were certain things that were either tremendously confusing or didn’t work. Starting with the pros: this app has great iOS widgets. But the negatives are at the end of the trial period, it was unable to integrate with mortgage and retirement accounts (though support helped), and the UI in the budget area was so tricky to understand (like changing values when not expected, or freezing if a value changed) sometimes you didn’t know if it was a bug or just a suboptimal design.
Thank you Team. Perfect App ✨
There is a slight learning curve, but I’ve tried several budgeting tools over the years, and CoPilot is by far my favorite and the most useful for tracking budget and cashflow every month.
I’ve been trying to play around with this app. See if I like it, but I can’t even get citibank to link. And all of my finances goes through my Costco credit card so I’m not gonna get much analysis without that working.
Muy bueno
This is a big miss, and I stopped using the app after just one week.
I love Copilot for one feature in particular. When you go out to dinner with friends and pay the bill, then get paid back through Venmo, Apple Cash, or Zelle, Copilot makes it easy to track your true spending. For example, if the bill is $200 but your portion was only $50, you can categorize the incoming payments (Friends Venmo’s) under the restaurant category. Copilot subtracts those reimbursements, so it only shows that you spent $50 that month. You can do this for anything—group dinners, movies, or golf. It makes seeing exactly what you’re spending each month incredibly easy Couldn’t recommend it more
I have tried many finance apps over the years and none of them seemed to offer a complete package with a clean Mac designed interface like Copilot does. Most of them feel like they were designed by Windows or Android geeks with no sense of what a great graphic user interface should be like. The ability to seamlessly import all transactions from all credit card, investment, bank accounts in the background make it the one stop shop for your personal finance needs. For me, Copilot is particularly helpful at tax time when you can easily review transactions, re-assign categories if needed and total all transactions that are tax related. A real gem of an app!
This is a great app to keep all your finances, investments and subscriptions in one place. Highly recommend it for anyone trying to budget and get one step ahead on banking.
Love by it daily and couldn’t be more impressed!
The app just combine all your account together, nothing a diligent person with 2 banks can’t do for free. Pointless to pay
Copilot is an excellent app that more than deserves 5 stars. I’ve been using the app since 2021, and have gotten 8 people to start using it. I believe that it can make a huge difference if you are ready to commit to smarter financial habits. The app is beautifully designed which gamifies your personal finances and makes something most people find dreadful to be fun, exciting, and even additive. As a longtime user, I do have several feature requests that I believe could improve and refine this great app. Some of these are cosmetic and others are seriously annoying things that they really should fix. 1. Please please fix graphs. When you have a category that you used to spend a lot in but now spend a lot less, the bars are barely visible. The bars should scale according to the local max on the screen and not the global max which is potentially from years ago. This can render the graph completely useless. The graphs in investing and accounts also need a refresh. I don’t find them useful as they are too small! Give us better graphs and just data visualization in general. 2. Rules absolutely NEED a redesign like yesterday. The fact you can’t manage your rules at this point is insane. Second, please let us create a rule without needing to apply it to every transaction it finds ever. I have years of specific categorization that I don’t necessarily want to mass change just to set a rule. Just let us set a rule for future transactions only. This makes no sense 3. We should be able to archive a category or hide it from view somehow but keep the totals in your numbers. I used to vape and I don’t need a vapes category anymore but also don’t want to just delete all the spending or put it into miscellaneous. 4. I would love to be able to group groups. For example I have my car group and also another transportation group that has public and ride share. I’d love to be able to group these 2 so I can know how much I’m spending on transportation total, but also be able to drill down into how much I spend on my car. Adding Ubers to my car group would not let me see just how much I spend on my car but also I have to sum 2 groups to know my transportation spend. Anyway keep killing it copilot team. I’ve seen yall release some bangers so I have faith this app will only get better. Also please don’t forget us users with a ton of data, I have been through periods where performance has suffered very badly but yall have fixed it so please don’t stop addressing that.
Won't do any budgeting for you, better to break out an excel sheet and do it on your own.
After mint went away, copilot was the next best option. It’s working well for my family. Responsive customer support but slow to fix anything. Particularly integration with other financial institutions- half of my other financial institutions do not sync correctly (these are retirement and mortgage accounts). Y’all got a rockstar app if you get the integrations/syncs to work better!
I have used several personal finance apps over the years. Copilot is the best for two big reasons. First, the desktop app is so fast and nimble that I was able to, over the course of a few hours, review a couple years of past transactions so I could accurately identify spending patterns and -- more importantly-- winkle out all those surprise recurring transactions. I cancelled about a dozen forgotten quarterly and annual charges -- paying for the cost of copilot ten times over. Secondly, once I had the true list of recurring transactions, copilot does the best job in incorporating those anticipated costs into my monthly spending. It includes all those costs at the top of the month so I know exactly how much discretionary money I actually have to spend. It also shows recurring costs in each category in a neat visual so I can really see how much margin I have for day to day expenses. I can actually check to see where I'm at during the month before I buy something. Now, I look forward to checking the app every day because using Copilot gives me a wonderful sense of clarity and control I've never had with any other personal finance app. ❤️❤️❤️💵💵💵
Love this budgeting app, especially the smart/AI features. The only issue I’ve had is that the connection between Copilot and Amazon is horrible so tracking those purchases requires you to go into Amazon and correlate the cost with the transaction since the Copilot line item doesn’t have any helpful information on it.
This app has nearly everything. My plan was to pay full price for the app for a couple months to try it out. I wanted to see month over month data. Within two weeks, I paid for the year subscription. The amount of detail and customization is incredible. I have tried a dozen apps. Nothing has come close to amount of charts, information and customization you get for less than $8 a month on the annual plan. And it even tracks cash flow, any kind of account (checking, credit card, loans, etc) and investments with different time intervals for great past performance references. Hands down the best budget app on the market.
The only way to add money to a finacial goal is to 'slide' your finger or cursor around, so the amount allocated varies wildily and unpredictibly and is impossible to add EXACT numbers such as $1000- you can slide around and add $1003 or $999 but the interface does not allow you to allocate specific amounts to budget envelopes. On top of this, the budget interface is totally broken where I was told my total monthly budget was $700 and I was over budget by $400 even though I had been paid $2500 THAT DAY! When you click on the ai interface to 'balance' the budget, all numbers go to 0 or to laughable amounts, such as a total grocery budget of $3. This app is not usable in any sense and is slightly 'interesting' to see where the spending and incomes come and go, but as far as any practibility or applicability to your daily life, it is lifeless.
Super easy to use. Multiple reporting options. Continuous improvements. Great support team. Can't say enough good things about this program and the company.
Well made. Intuitive. Changed everything for me.
Fidelity connection allows to see the balance only, no transaction history available. Also, you can’t copy/paste the text from the UI.
If you want to dive into details, track, plan effectively this is the app for you! I am so glad to have this app in my corner to manage my finances holistically and diligently.
For some reason the app said I was earning 4x what I actually make. No easy/obvious way to fix this. It was also missing a lot expenses for my monthly budget. Love the set up and layout but not there yet for my set up.
I signed up and was stuck in a looping status with no assistance or guidance. I no longer feel confident this app will protect or provide security for my data.
Well designed and easy to use. Needs some effort to get categories right, but they really make it easy to set budgeting on autopilot.
Frustrated that a connection timed out then got duplicated transactions because I tried to re-verify again due to new account. The company can’t fix this after a week. Wasted too much time on this. Some of the dupes won’t even delete. And their reporting ability is non-existent for quick answers or totals. Wasted my money on this app.
Useless.. stuck at login. No way to reset it.
The CoPilot app itself is solid. The interface is intuitive, the budgeting tools are thoughtfully designed, and the categorization engine is one of the few that actually learns user behavior instead of making a mess after every single transaction. If I were rating only CoPilot’s internal functionality, it would easily be a five-star product. The problem is everything that sits between CoPilot and the banks it needs to talk to. Navy Federal and the Plaid integration are, frankly, hot garbage. Nothing connects correctly, nothing stays synced, and the error messages are so vague that you end up wasting time troubleshooting problems the app can’t fix because the underlying data link simply doesn’t work. Every attempt to authenticate with Navy Federal through Plaid turns into a full-scale exercise in frustration, circular prompts, and outright failure. When the main value of a budgeting app depends on accurate account aggregation, having your primary financial institution break the entire workflow is unacceptable. What makes this even more frustrating is that CoPilot could be outstanding—its design is genuinely strong. But none of that matters if the connectivity layer collapses every single time. When your bank accounts won’t stay linked and half the transactions never load, you’re left with an expensive app that functions worse than a notebook. At this point, using graph paper would be more reliable than dealing with this dysfunctional chain of broken connections. CoPilot deserves credit for what it controls, but Navy Fed and Plaid drag the experience down so far that the usefulness of the app is severely compromised. Until those two decide to operate at even a minimally functional level, CoPilot’s potential is wasted.
Doesn’t connect with Sofi
I love the UX in this app, truly minimaist and clean, it finds a way to present in a simple way all your assets, investments and transactions. It is a great way to keep track of your net worth, but also of your recurring subscriptions and purchases. I have been a paying subscriber and really enjoy it.
No other personal finance tool comes close. There aren’t a million bells whistles - copilot does a few things and does them extremely well. Gives customers organization, clarity, and confidence. Complete worth the cost (albeit low).
I’ve reduced my rating to one from the previous review because the support team is unwilling to fix the issue I’m facing. The problem is that when I pay using one of my American Express cards, Copilot sometimes fails to capture the transaction. However, Copilot does capture the transaction when the transaction status changes from pending to posted, which is good. But this behavior has a critical issue: it posts to the wrong date and sometimes copies notes from other transactions. This makes it very difficult to keep track of when these transactions actually occurred. After spending a long time with a support representative from Copilot, he told me that this is a Plaid issue and that they can’t do anything about it. I argued that the issue of copying notes from different transactions is Copilot’s problem, not Plaid’s, because the notes are Copilot’s, not Plaid’s. However, he concluded that it was a Plaid issue because Plaid linked these transactions. I’m not convinced because I believe that the copying note behavior is done by Copilot, not Plaid, even though Plaid had the wrong transaction linkage. I asked him to escalate the issue or conduct further investigation with the developers, but he didn’t. So, I ended up leaving this negative feedback in public. Even though it’s a Plaid issue, I don’t care. Plaid’s issue is Copilot’s issue from end user perspective, and they need to fix it. Transaction dates are one of the critical data elements in finance, and I don’t appreciate the Copilot team undervaluing its importance. I hope they read this review and hope to fix this bug, regardless of whether it’s from Plaid or Copilot.
The app does not appear to be any better than others at automatically categorizing expenses using AI. Everything just pulls through as “Other.” Unless you want to spend hours categorizing everything, the app is useless.
The app is stuck on a “monthly” view, preventing you from long-term planning. There’s no way to see your annual expenses in any detail. This ultimately defeats an effective long-term budget. The “adjust budget” feature does not really make sense; it made inexplicable changes that were not identified or explained. Its features are fairly basic and do not allow for easy data analysis.
Copilot is genuinely a fantastic, modern financial tracking app. The user interface is clean, the connectivity to various accounts (banks, investment, crypto) is excellent, and it captures complex use cases like net worth tracking better than most competitors. However, there is a single, glaring, and unacceptable feature hole for an app handling critical financial data: the near-total inability to back up or export your account configuration. While you can export raw transactions as a CSV, you cannot export your custom categories, personalized tags, specific rules, or historical details for closed/manual accounts. Your entire organizational structure—the heart of your financial tracking—is completely reliant on the service operating perfectly and perpetually. This lack of basic interoperability means your meticulously categorized data and rules are effectively trapped. If the service ever goes down, your account is compromised, or you simply want to move to another platform, you face catastrophic loss, having to manually rebuild years of work. Every other major financial tracking app offers export/import functionality for categories and rules. For a service that handles such sensitive and personalized data, this is a non-negotiable security and portability requirement. Please, Copilot developers: Address this glaring feature hole immediately. Give users the power to back up, export, and import their full configurations.
I’m honestly shocked that a budgeting app that costs $100 a year is missing one of the most basic features every modern budgeting app provides: the ability to manually track credit card and loan payments. Copilot advertises itself as being great for people who want privacy and don’t want to link their accounts. But here’s what they don’t clearly disclose: If you don’t link your credit cards or loans, Copilot cannot: • record a debt payment properly • reduce your credit card balance automatically • treat payments as anything except “income” or “expenses” • support internal transfers • accept transactions inside manual credit card or loan accounts In other words: If your accounts are manual, Copilot cannot track your debt payoff. At all. You can log a payment leaving your checking, but Copilot has no way to record that payment going into the debt account. The app literally does not allow adding transactions to manual credit card or loan accounts. The only “solution” is to: • enter an expense in your checking, • then manually adjust your debt balance by hand, • every single time you make a payment. Every other major budgeting app at this price point, YNAB, Monarch Money, Actual, Goodbudget, allows manual debt tracking. Copilot is the only one I’ve ever used that requires you to link accounts just to make a basic credit card payment register correctly.
Especially with one of us newly retired (me) and needing to closely monitor our burn rate, my spouse and I have become addicted to Copilot. It is an exceptionally well executed personal finance app!
Love the app. Only thing I wish I had was an overall Net Worth feature. I’d like to see that number up front and work towards growing it. Annoying to have to resync PayPal constantly though.
I can not get the app to work. It just stays on the loading page. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared my cache. I don’t know what else to do. My phone is a iPhone 16 Pro Max and up to date.
App would not complete the set up process for my account and import my transactions. Could not access chat support while stuck in this module.
If you are struggling with finances: Get this app and start tracking. I’ve used it for over a year, and put away $20000 because of good habits enabled by this tool.
It is so clear to me that the Copilot team cares deeply about their clients. They’ve built an app that really works, and work hard to ensure they know how it’s being used…and how it can be improved.
Bad app, paying too much for a simple app
Deleted and reinstalled and it still just sits there spinning
Downloaded this to take some labor out of budgeting (previously used spreadsheet). Can't use it because it's not compatible with my husbands Android. I'm bummed because I think this is the most user friendly app I've tried so far. Moving over to Monarch, hopefully that works well.
This app has you login, connect all your bank accounts, then tells you that it’s a free trial and will charge you eventually. I feel like it should be more transparent that I will need to pay. Before I attach all of my valuable banking information.
I wanted to use the app and it does not connect to Amex keep giving error. Other issue is it takes at least 20 second the open the app. Keep loading and finally opening. I contacted with support but no one responded not sure how they got all this review
Need more insights and intelligence based on AI. Otherwise the app feels static and underutilized.
Copilot is an incredibly well-designed app — the user interface is beautiful, intuitive, and genuinely makes you want to keep using it. It does take some time and thought to set up properly for your personal needs, but that’s part of what makes it so effective and rewarding. Before downloading Copilot, I had an unhealthy relationship with money — I didn’t even want to know how much I was spending. Now, I can’t imagine not checking my transactions every day. The app has completely changed my mindset and removed so much of my financial anxiety. Copilot makes it easy to track, plan, and save, and I actually enjoy managing my finances now. Highly recommend to anyone looking to take control of their money in a positive, stress-free way!
I’d love to try your app, it looks great, but I’m not paying for a month to try it when a competitor gives you a whole year to try it for $1 and is cheaper as well. If there is some way to try it for a month or three free with my data to see how it works over a few months, I might reconsider, but I’m not spending $30-40 just to see if I like it. I don’t mind paying a subscription if I find and app useful but a free trial period if a few months would be great and a great hook. If I’m missing something, let me know!
Best budgeting tool I’ve ever used, it’s so detailed!!!
Love
Too many random glitches things dont update automatically contact support they tell you something and it doesnt work. You try deleting and relinking accounts to force an update and now you have error codes saying plaid can’t link the account. Contact support they say “we made a ticket with plaid” no timelines no windows no real support just people pretending to help
This app has honestly made budgeting so easy and actually helpful. The live view of where you’re at for the month is extremely useful and helps to keep us on track. Would recommend to anyone struggling to manage their finances!
This app is incredible. I’ve tried a bunch of budgeting apps and this one is by far the best. The usability and the way the UI is designed is just top notch. Also if you run into any snags their customer support is also top tier and has helped me many times. Overall, if you’re looking for a budgeting app for your iPhone, Copilot is the best choice by far!
This app is very basic. They don’t even allow you to have categories in your incomes! This is ridiculous, since a lot of people have incomes from different places. They don’t have a forecast for future cash flow as well. Very very disappointing app.
Honestly I’ve never spent so much an app and everything about copilot is just awesome. Now after a few months, I know exactly where I should fix my spending habits and I can track my savings goals really really easily between my different investments. Their customer service is also great, I’ve messaged a few times about issues I had and a REAL person talks to me and fixes my problem. 100% recommended.
Amazing result
Some limitations with integration but based on the institutions and not directly an issue with copilot. The customer service has been helpful when needed. There is a learning curve with transactions and how so I almost gave it a 4 star. It’s been smooth since getting past that. Great way to visualize, track and plan spending.
Valuable cross platform tool that just works. Some effort is required to keep things in check, but I find it invaluable I budgeting and reviewing my spending habits.
I like this app a lot, I’ve been paying for it for 2 years and recommend it. But why is it taking up 2.6Gb of storage on my phone?! That’s crazy, it’s more than mail and messages combined. More than Facebook. And it doesn’t store pics, videos, music. please change.
It’s a great app, most things are very easy to see and find. At first it was a little overwhelming but after a deep breath and a while to explore the app is easily navigable. Definitely would recommend for everyone and anyone.
I think this app seems great, but once I downloaded it and then after a few weeks decided to close my account I started getting tons of solicitations for loans. I try to block all numbers, but still get at least one call a day.
I am an absolute freak with tracking my expenses on spreadsheets. And I still use them to a certain extent, but this app has made it sooooo much easier to forecast my expenses. The ability to export transactions, set recurring costs, set automatic categorizations and much more has made it great!! Don’t pass up on app! It’s worth every dime.
So far so good. Just downloaded the app and have uploaded most of my accounts. Takes some time to correctly categorize incoming and outgoing transactions, butI can appreciate the clean and simple aesthetic.
Unfortunately the app fails to deliver real time and to recognize categories correctly. Not always accurate and behind what my accounts actually were.
Honestly, the filter on transactions tab is very vague and doesn’t work sufficiently. We need more detailed filter like date range inside of the month and search by note not just merchant name.
I’m so disappointed. I was really looking forward to us app. app is stuck with an arrow and spinning timer. It won’t load completely. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled. I’ve completely shut down my iPad and restarted. Same problem! I let it run for about 10 minutes and the Home Screen finally came on.
This is by far the best and most consistent budgeting app I’ve used and I’m coming from YNAB/Mint/Rocket Money. Transactions are reliably always there and can finally track ALL of my accounts including Apple Card , Coinbase, and all of my bank accounts! Additionally they have a great Mac app for desktop, which I also use! All in all, best budgeting app I’ve used! Now onto the “Almost Perfect” part “Reviewing” a transaction on IOS is a bit clunky. Each TX takes several taps. And since yall have those nice rules, most transactions just need to be looked at. My suggestion, which would make this a perfect app is make a process where you can swipe or scroll through the TXs to review them and easily set the category. Like Tinder for transaction viewing. It would greatly reduce friction to review and set categories!
Easy to use and awesome insight into how I spend and budget my money - huge fan!
So this is a good app as long as you don’t use Apple Card. Issues with it updating transactions. Was supposed to make my life easier.
I just learned from Support that copilot doesn’t actively scan for new recurring charges or new subscriptions. So I’m cancelling…
Is there really no option to enter an amount when allocating money from an account towards a goal? The slider interface is ridiculous and unusable. Impossible to set an amount accurately. How does this work for anyone with motor impairment?
I have three budgeting apps right now: Monarch, Copilot and Rocket Money. I use them for the same accounts to budget my spending, and each provides different features that I love. Copilot goes above and beyond when it comes to the graphics and reports it creates. Also the widgets are amazing. While I love all three of the apps, I’m most likely going to keep this one and Monarch. Two feature requests I’d like to see: credit score tracking and for budgets to be customized so I can do them biweekly instead of monthly. On the page where we vote for the next features we want Copilot to work on, the budget customization option has the most votes by far compared to any other suggestion. Yet it still isn’t in line for it to be made. My only criticism is: what’s the point of voting and asking our feedback on feature requests if they just end up being ignored?
This is the best app to get a handle on your financing. It’s a joy to use, as I find myself checking it very frequently. It’s great to be able to add every possible bank account, credit card, and investment accounts. You can even add custom cash accounts to manually track your cars’ value if you want to add that to your net worth. Overall, props to the development team, as this app is such a game changer and healthy way to get a handle on your finances and know and understand where your money is going, track all your subscriptions, and make sure nothing is going unnoticed. Amazingly well done!
I had been a YNAB user for almost a decade, and while tracking my transactions and tweaking my budget was often a huge source of comfort to me when money was tight, the overhead was not practical to maintain long term and I often got very behind. With over 1000 transactions to review just since May, I knew I needed a change. I got CoPilot and in about 3 hours I was able to classify every transaction I had made since 2023! With a clear picture of my spending habits over the last 2 years, budgeting from here on out is a breeze!
For folks like me who ask “where does my money go”? This is the best app for a very specific answer. You create expense categories and the app knows groceries from gasoline so it assigns transactions to categories that one reviews and makes any changes. The program is super slick. Everything is easy and thorough. Tried others, but Copilot Money is a clear winner. The monthly running totals is very useful. I recommend it.
You’re paying $100 for a clean UI app that falls far beyond the competitive market in the world of personal finance/budgeting apps. The app is bare bones, there’s negligible communication from the copilot team to the user base, and theres no urgency in staying up to speed in this market. Dreadful unfortunately.
I’ve tried multiple apps and they never measure up. I’ve been using this app for 6+ years and the support from the Copilot team is not comparable — they’re a 12/10 for sure. App is seamless, and very intuitive. Must try!
No good way to manage shared accounts and expenses. No transaction data for investment accounts. No way to track dividends. No mass upload of transactional data (ie to manually track dividends in bulk to make up for missing functionality). Constant bugs with reconnecting/authorizing accounts. PayPal in particular is a problem and they haven’t fixed in all these years.
They say that which gets measured gets improved. Took a few days to get optimized for me but has shed a spotlight on my finances.
Not sure what it is, I tried every app it seems and I hated all of them. This one is easy enough to use that it just sticks. Love it love it love it. As long as you aren’t doing that crazy envelope budgeting stuff that ynab makes you do and just care about seeing your spending this is the app for you.
I just purchased the year subscription but the app takes a while to get to the main screen and then I click ‘continue’ and nothing happens. Can’t even get into it other than via ‘demo mode’
I signed up for the $13 Copilot subscription and everything went through fine, but when I tried to add a different credit card to track, the app kept crashing. I restarted my phone and tried again multiple times, but it still crashed every time I went to update the card. Super frustrating experience for a paid app.
Ever since the iOS26 update came out the app barely functions. Scrolling is literally a slideshow and i have to wait several seconds to be able to switch between views/tabs. Fix your stuff y’all…
The AI isn’t intuitive enough yet and the dashboards are more flash than helpful
Unable to change categories, overlap between accounts, overall unhelpful and very frustrating to use.
Love the app and its features. I now stay on top of whats going on with my money
I’ve been using this app for six months, and I finally decided to move on from it. I’ve had constant data loss and corruption. I can’t depend on anything I’m seeing in the app. While updating transactions in my new budget app, I’m finding that thousands of dollars of income and expenses have been lost over the past six months. At one point all of my transactions from June through August completely disappeared. If there is one thing I need from a financial management app, it’s accuracy. I love the interface and widgets Copilot offers but unfortunately it’s unusable due to its inability to maintain accurate data. They won’t refund the last half of my subscription but I’d rather lose the money paid than continue to lose data. I’d recommend avoiding this app at all costs.
OMG
Combined finances with a partner and didn’t realize that we couldn’t see each other’s credit card expenses in banking apps. Saw this on a Youtube video, tried it out, loved it! The graphs, month-in-review, and auto-categorization are my favorite features! Also love the widgets you can add to the home screen. I only wish that everyone (Android OS and internationally) could access it!
It’s so so buggy…
For an app that is supposed to help you save and budget charging 12 a month makes it kinda redundant
Ever since I updated to 7.0.4 the app has been very laggy. I thought it may require iOS26 to work properly, but even after the update it is still unusable. Please fix this
This app was highly recommended. I wanted to start with the app on a certain date and found out I had to manually delete 18 months of entries, which should have been easy but was not. There were other issues that had long workarounds that is not what I paid for. I will not renew.
I really liked this app at the beginning and I still like it except the fact that this app automatically change the category of transaction. This makes me crazy and unable to keep having correct categorization. Reported to support team but so far no fix has been delivered.
Changed credit card number and it shows the transaction 3 times, doesn’t allow deletion, super frustrating
I was excited about the possibility of this app when my favorite budget app was in the middle of a new transition. I liked the net worth overview, but wanted more of an intentionality and clarity of spending.
This app is fantastic. So many things I was tracking manually in excel are now just a click. And as someone who uses my credit card for everything and then pay it off monthly, it grabs it all. Budget, cash flow, investments, it’s all there. Highly recommend!!
I was really excited to try this app and I really liked all of the features however it kept duplicating transactions among my accounts. I kept having to go in and manually review and delete things because my spent totals were wildly inaccurate due to the duplication.
Love how fun it is to budget now with this application at my fingertips.
Missing core feature but does have great interface. AI categories is not useable at all. Honestly easier to manually enter them. No option to create rules to auto categorize based on amount.
category changes wont update please fix it
Does a good job selecting categories but the lack of custom reports makes it fairly useless
Upgraded my iPhone and Copilot duplicated every single Apple Card transaction. My budget is now completely unusable, and of course this happened on the weekend — when I had specifically set aside time to get my finances in order. Copilot offers zero weekend support. None. For one of the biggest personal finance apps on the App Store, that’s inexcusable. I’m in the middle of wedding planning and desperately needed to organize my money. Instead, Copilot left me stuck with a broken account and no way to fix it. This isn’t a minor inconvenience — this is my actual financial life being wrecked by their software, with no safety net. For a company of this size, refusing to provide weekend support is negligent. They market themselves as the best finance tracker, but when it actually matters, they leave you stranded. Unless you want your entire budget destroyed at the worst possible time, think twice before trusting Copilot with your finances.
I was a big Mint guy, loved it and it was very helpful with getting my expenses under control. Then they decided to shut it down, needless to say I was pretty bummed about it but then I heard about Copilot…I did their trail (7-days I think) and I was hooked, it’s soooo much better than anything I could have imagined. Copilot is by far the best budgeting app for me! The interface, the integration, the UX, Everything! It’s just incredible, give it a try. If you are anything like me and need help with budgets and knowing where your money goes. I promise, you won’t regret getting Copilot!
App sent a message stating the free trial was almost up and asked if I wanted to keep the app. I clicked no, thinking it would cancel my subscription and deleted the app. Was charged full year charge of $100, and I reach out for a refund same day and explained the situation. My refund was refused and I am now out $100. I clearly hadn’t used the app since I asked for the refund same day. Refund was refused, I appealed and refused again. Now out $100 for an app I won’t use.
Great for helping you track, manage, and meet your money goals. Definitely recommend!
Only good things to say about copilot and their team. The subscription is worth it. They are always working to make the experience better
I like using this app and I’m sorry to be so harsh but it’s like the UI devs didn’t even read the tutorial for Liquid Glass. This visual update feels half-baked and does not incorporate Liquid Glass in the way Apple intended. I have no clue why apple featured this app in their Liquid Glass UI section. I could have vibe-coded a better Liquid Glass UI in cursor in under a week.
There are a few extra customizations that I would enjoy. The ability to add payments to category without counting it toward the budget, review payments by week instead of by day, ability to add multiple Amazon and Venmo accts, ability to say who the acct belongs to (or who the expense belongs to) for people with joint finances.
