I have made tickets over the past few weeks with no communication. I tried direct mail. My main checking account won’t connect so the app isn’t useful at this moment. Arvest is listed under Plaid but it says try again later when trying to connect and has said that for the last month. I’ve used Reddit to address my issue as well.

I have been looking for a new app after mint was retired. Tried several but nothing worked. Piere has been great from day1 and they kept add new features that enhanced the experience.

Transactions don’t update for a couple of days even though it shows “refreshed a few hours ago”. Other than that for the price (I’d they don’t hike), I would recommend it.

Piere is the most the dependable and easy-to-use budgeting platform I’ve ever experienced. They are constantly innovating and bringing new features and efficiencies to improve the platform and leverage new technology. This is my every day foundational budget app now.

After Mint shut down I wanted to find an alternative that would give me a similar or better alternative. I got in on the ground floor and haven’t regretted it. It’s easy to connect to institutions and easy to see what you’re doing. You can customize the home page to what you want/need to see. They are also constantly making it better.

I mistakenly deleted my review. Reassessing the budget function after account reset and upgrade. And I will return.

The app charged me for the platinum version though I had opted out of it. This company uses all AI. You can NEVER reach a real person. Terrible business model. Do not download. You will get overcharged.

When the Mint app stopped, I was searching for something very similar. I then stumbled across Piere and love it! Simple to use and has all the features that I was looking for.

This app is so easy to if you have a bit of experience with AI and has really helped me save a little money for a rainy day. Before Piere, I spent every penny, now I am held accountable and attribute that to the app.

I was heartbroken when Mint shut its doors. But in came Piere to the rescue. It has been a solid alternative and an actually upgrade. It has a lot of useful feature for tracking transactions and balances and following net worth. Well worth it!

Been using this app for over a year. It logs in quickly, updates all of my accounts and gives me the information I am looking for promptly. The company seems to respond to feedback and continues to iterate.

Despite linking my accounts multiple times, Piere still doesn’t have an accurate portrayal of my finances. I don’t use it often because I don’t find it extremely useful. I prefer budgeting with pen and paper.

Great option if you’re looking for a simple way to see your say budget! Definitely one of the better apps.

Another long time Mint user just wanting to see where all my money is. Piere has made a lot of progress. I don’t use most features, since I only need Net, Reports, and Transactions. Devs were quick to fix an issue I reported for Virginia 529 accounts. Thank you! My only remaining gripe is with account stability. I switched what I could from MX to Plaid which took care of most of the pain. Some others still disconnect frequently and take minutes to reconnect.

Love the app and what they are doing. Constantly upgrading the app to new heights. Keep it up!

Switched from mint after the merger with CK. I don't miss mint at all.

Disappointing new update. They took a clean and useful dashboard and UI then hid it behind extra clicks, while pushing AI. Instead of building on what users already liked and adding new value to paid users, it feels like the new update made the existing experience worse unless you pay. This feels like a great way to push users like me away instead of convincing me to be a paid customer.

I’m one of the very first users of this app and helped contribute to many early features and design decisions. This app had lots of potential when they first started out. Now they’re locking down basic functionality (like category editing) from “plus” users to push them into a higher “platinum” tier. I’m also tired of them trying to shove useless AI features down my throat when they don’t even have the basics down. The most recent update makes the app unusable with the new budgeting page design. It’s buggy, harder to navigate, and harder to process visually. They change pieces of the design every week and it doesn’t feel thoughtful or that they have an overall vision.

A great app which allows me to budget/save/plan and the added AI feature has been getting really good at knowing what I’m looking for, finding trends, and able to correct when asked to or asking to dig deeper.

I have used Piere since Mint disappeared. I absolutely love the growth this app has had. Can’t wait for a desktop version.

I switched to Piere after Mint shut down. We’ve been using it for a while now, and it’s pretty good. I wish it didn’t add new categories into the budget of a transaction doesn’t fit an existing category, but I’ve learned to live with it. Over all, it’s a great tool!

Support email address doesn’t work unable to login wants me to buy a new subscription every time I login unable to cancel my free trial

Unfortunately the app is ugly and feels like a web app, not a native app. It’s needs to be rewritten. I have the plus plan and don’t use it since it a poor experience. Build a nice app and I’m sure you will get a lot more users.

Piere keeps advertising new AI features but the basic function of aggregating all of my accounts in one place and telling me how much I have spent is completely broken. Accounts are not updating for months with no way to fix them. You’re better off doing your budget with a pencil and paper than relying on this app

This app used to be solid until the recent addition of Piere IQ. Now, the app is sluggish and sometimes fails to load at all. Yet another app ruined by being hyper focused on AI.

I’ve had a case open for probably six months now, and cannot get a resolution. They seem to be intent on pushing new features only, and not fixing any of the myriad of problems the app already has.

Reached out for support multiple times with no response. So if you run into any issues be prepared to be ghosted.

I've been using Piere since it came out, and have been impressed by the overall experience. The budgeting and trend data is useful, all of my accounts connected and transactions imported well, and the team is very responsive and pushes continual updates, making it look like a good long term solution. A couple issues it seems they're working on addressing are the speed and responsiveness of the app, which tends to lag when updating transactions. I also have accounts where the name changed slightly over time (probably coming from TIAA's end) so upon updating the accounts the net worth feature thinks they're new and doubles their value. I don't see a merge accounts feature to resolve that, but wouldn't be surprised if that's something the team has on their list for the future.

I had great hopes for this to replace Mint. Instead, I am constantly having to reconnect accounts, and lately Piere will tell me an account was updated minutes ago, only for me to notice the balance is wrong because it is in fact disconnected again. They seem more interested in fielding AI tools nobody wants than providing a useful budgeting app.

Full of bugs, can’t handle basic functions like removing an account/institution, home screen barely lets you get to the functions because it’s pushing offers, duplicates transactions. Only got through adding one account and quit it within 24 hours.

I’ve been using the paid version of the app for a week after the free week trial and I’m having buyers remorse already. The app is pretty buggy. Links have to be tapped multiple times to work or they just don’t work at all. The interface is so busy it’s hard to know if this is a budgeting app or a video game. Even after upgrading to the paid version, the “upgrade to premium” is always taking up real estate on the screen. UI seems like an afterthought.

I hit a snag registering for the app over the weekend. Emailed their support and they fixed it in about 5 minutes. Very impressed and it convinced me to give the app a try. So far loving what I'm seeing and it created a savings plan that my BF and I are sticking with.

I love the different tools available, the developers have great ideas but the app does not run smoothly at all. Just to give an example, the credit card balances flip every other day so it gets added up to assets instead of liabilities. The invert balance button works only sometimes, and only temporarily. I would love for these bugs to get fixed otherwise I’m not inclined to renew at all

I used this app after mint was discontinued, and use it for the budgeting features. So far it’s been a great way to keep track of my monthly budgets and has fairly robust automation rules which is awesome. I wish the iOS app was a little more stable, I oftentimes get slow refreshes or glitched screens. I also Only use the budget features so I can’t speak to the AI stuff they add.

I’ve tried most of the popular budgeting apps and even a few lesser known options – Piere, by far, is the most feature rich solution offering frequent updates and prompt responses to feedback. My go to app for monitoring my money.

They have worked very hard on ensuring a reliable connection to our accounts. The latest release is so good it’s now as good as what the mint app was during its peak. Great job team!

A fantastic budgeting app. They are leaning a bit heavy into the feature marketing but at its core it’s everything you need.

After countless free trials and paid subscriptions for budgeting apps that wouldn’t fit our needs - a knight in shining armor named Piere appeared. My wife and I (and our bank accounts) now swear by Piere and couldn’t be happier. Big shoutout to the team working on this!

These guys get it. The app is constantly improving, and the last update just took home the gold. Piere actually LISTENS to us, its customers, and added Plaid this month to improve connection issues. And they did it without increasing prices or eliminating the free tier. What other business thinks this way? I’ve tried Monarch, Quicken, YNAB, and they’re all great. But Piere does everything they do and has a team of employees you can actually talk to. They chat us up on Reddit every day, and they don’t condescend. The marketing or PR people need a raise because they get how to talk to us and how to keep their app looking top. It’s not easy to make a budgeting app sound like the future you’ve been missing but they do it. Heck, the planning team who’s thinking up new features and the developers who push out quick updates also need a raise. I’m happy I’ve stayed with these guys and can’t wait to see what they dream up next. They’re coming out with something called self driving money according to their emails and im not sure what it is, but i already need it.

This app is just hilariously bad. Like to the point where these fools think they can take in anywhere near a decent app like monarch or copilot is just comical. They charge you premium for extremely basic features that are entirely free elsewhere. Just avoid this garbage and pay for something that actually works.

For a budgeting app, there are too many failure points for it to be useful. Rules are constantly broken, modifying the budget or transactions never update the budget and I’ve had a large number of transactions not download and several pending transactions that fall off just become permanent.

It’s so buggy and slow. It would be understandable if the app was still young but it’s been around for what, a year? Longer? Come on y’all. I’ll update my review if the app improves.

Don’t be fooled I stupidly wanted to check out this app and see if it any good and clicked on the 7 - day free trial. It NEVER mentioned me being charged list said “all set”. Three hours later I get a notification from PayPal saying apple charged me $64.10! I freaked out wondering what on earth apple could be charging me that much money for and discovered it was for this horrible scam of an app offer a free trial that is in fact NOT free! I have tried to get in touch with someone from Piere to get a refund and have submitted two tickets and yet NO RESPONSE AT ALL! I am so mad

If you’re not using Piere then you might want to get with the program because let me tell you, they make the competition look as if they’re reason for being there is non existent. It’s only a matter of time before the other companies shut down or try and copy Piere business model because they are most definitely doing it right !! Thanks Piere !

So I was very excited to use this app but I can’t even afford the subscription to use it but I’ve heard nothing but great things in regards to it so if you have the extra money to spare download it and utilize it to help your current situation

This app is really gaining traction. The latest transaction rules really help it compete with Monarch Money. The app provides basic insights in a clean interface, nice alerts and great speed.

Good company. I just had a lot going on at the moment and couldn’t keep up with it

Unfortunately the app is unusable; every time you click anything it takes seconds to work. So if you want to change one single categorization (say a credit card charge from restaurants to groceries) it takes multiple clicks and each click will lag for seconds. You also can’t tell right away if it registered the click, so if nothing happens after a few seconds you may click again, only for the lag on the first click to end so it registers the second click on a new screen, making it a misclick. So then you need to undo the second click with a new click that has its own lag. And on and on, forever. The website does work okay but the app is just unusable.

I love the app and would give it 5 stars if it would stay connected. But my investment account keeps disconnecting. Sometimes it’s only the brokerage so if I re-add the connection, it ends up with duplicates of my ROTH. Not sure this is anything Piere can do on their end but I do wish it would stay connected once everything is set up without having to fix it every few weeks.

I wouldn’t recommend Piere with sensitive information. I needed to delete my account since the app wasn’t meeting all of our needs, but there’s no confirmation of deletion on the screen or by email. I reached out to see what happened with our account info and they gave a vague answer and then never replied to my two follow-up emails.

Everything is easy to understand and also easy to locate.

I really liked using this app and was finding it very useful for budgeting and staying on top of spending. However, a few months ago, the app was distorting the decimal place on my transactions, making it seem like certain purchases were much larger than that actually were, which is throwing off my budget. (For example, a $57 purchase would show up on the app as $5700) I have reached out to the support team twice on this issue, with no follow up or resolution. The only response I have been getting was that the Mexico team was working on it, but there has been no follow up in about a month and the issue still remains. It’s disappointing because I was really enjoying the app and was considering upgrading to the paid version, but I may look at other apps since the tool is kind of useless at this point.

This app is everything it says and more

Okay so, I’ve been using the Piere app for a bit now and honestly… I kinda love it? At first I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s actually super easy to use and really aesthetic (which matters, let’s be real). Everything’s laid out in a way that just makes sense, so you’re not wasting time trying to figure things out. What I like most is how customizable it is. I’ve been using it to stay on top of my daily goals and little routines, and it actually helps keep me motivated without being annoying. The reminders are chill—not like those apps that feel like they’re yelling at you every 5 minutes. There are a couple tiny bugs I’ve noticed, and I think some parts of the app could be a little smoother, but they’ve been updating it pretty regularly, so I’m hopeful that’ll get better soon. The vibe overall is really positive and encouraging. If you’re into organizing your life a bit or just want a cute app to help you stay on track, I definitely recommend trying Piere. It’s honestly been such a good addition to my routine.

Point of failure is the MX verification service. Piere should push for a better product. Support is also not as helpful as they make you belief. Glad I don’t have to pay for the service.

My connections constantly disconnect every few days requiring manual reconnects. One of my accounts hasn’t updated in over a month.

I was really excited to use this app. It’s amazing to me that there really isn’t a good option for budgeting, paid or otherwise. I started with Mint, which was pretty good, but I had a lot of problems keeping accounts connected. Then Empower, when I simply couldn’t connect half my accounts. First day with Piere (the 18th of the month), I had some minor issues connecting certain accounts, so I reached out to support. In the ticket submittal form it said something like ‘could take up to 48 hours for a response’. Two days later, no response. Three days later, all of a sudden a number of my accounts had become disconnected, and I am not able to reconnect them. I was on the 7-day trial before my card would be charged $60. Sent out another support request. So far, I am now on day 5 of having the app, and have not seen a single response to any of the support requests I submitted (3 total). Not even an auto-generated ‘hey, we got your request, we’ll be back with you soon’ (I mean, don’t these folks work with AI?). In the meantime, they have managed to send me 1-3 marketing emails every day! Pretty disappointed. I canceled my free trial, because I didn’t want to forget or be an hour late, getting charged for an app that I can’t make work. I’m guessing that if they can’t respond to support request, getting them to refund my money would be very challenging. I would not recommend Piere.

Piere is a great personal finance app. They aggregate your accounts to see all your spending and track all your account balances in one place. The budget tracking works great. When I’ve offered suggestions for improvement, the Piere team has gotten back to me and incorporated my feedback into their product. The free tier works perfectly but has a limit on the number of accounts you can add. The paid subscription is reasonably priced for what you get. Would recommend to anyone looking to track their finances with one convenient app.

I loved Mint, so for several months after they closed, I tried Monarch. Unfortunately, Monarch seemed to be more work and not as intuitive. I finally decided to give something else a try, and I’m glad I came across Piere. It works seamlessly and has plenty of customization. Great app!

I am a college student who wanted to take better charge of my finances and this app has truly been great for me, helping me to categorize spending and cut out the unnecessary things, as well as save.

Although I miss having mint I have used Piere as a direct replacement and it works great. Took a little time to get used to the app and wish the desktop version will allow you to download transactions in xls so hope they consider that option

Switched to Piere when Mint ended, and I’m glad I did! Love the UI and the simplicity makes it the best mint replacement I’ve discovered. Has a lot of features but i mainly use the basics to track my transactions and spending. Minimal unwanted stuff, unlike mint. Takes a second to link your accounts but pretty smooth afterwords to categorize your transactions and stuff. Give it a try!

Like many others, I’ve been struggling to find a Mint alternative. I used EveryDollar for 2024 but found the “micro-management” of counting every dollar was a bit much and, to be honest, completely unattainable. Real life never follows an EveryDollar budget. Plus, you spend $80 for a year’s subscription and then your husband bans you from looking at credit card transactions all of Nov and Dec because of Christmas shopping-and you feel like a sixth of your subscription was just wasted. I wanted FREE so I didn’t have to feel like I was wasting money on something that was supposed to help me save money. Well, I finally stumbled upon Piere, and this is exactly what I’ve been searching for! It’s free, simple, syncs bank transactions, has an aesthetic look, and allows for unlimited customizable budget categories. This is literally all I ever need. Piere Plus is available for those who want it, but I don’t! THANK YOU for making a free app that gets the job done!!! Plus the AI budget creator in the free Plus trial was incredibly useful for building my budget based off my real life spending! Saved me a lot of brainwork.

I downloaded Piere from my wife and I and use the free trial and recognized it abilities very early on not only the transparency but the ability to budget and keep track of your finances and progress and reach financial goals

Easy to use app and I can keep track of my expenses in one spot. Especially like the weekly reminders of how much I spent each week. Maybe a feature to detect subscriptions and have a separate tab would be nice

The financial awareness app you need. I appreciate the notifications for large transactions or anything that looks out of pattern. Categorizing expenses, setting budgets and goals are also great features. Reports are another wonderful feature. I also like that I can pick and choose what accounts are tracked. The graph of progress or regression is also nice to have.

It’s been so difficult to find an app that effectively aggregates everything, including my retirement. It’s so awesome that this app does it all seamlessly!

Been plodding through money management apps for a long time, from Mint to the last of which was empower. When I first set up Piere, it was lacking in several areas. When I re-engaged at the end of 2024, I was really impressed with the progress. It now covers the institutions I needed and has great flexibility in setting up and tracking income and expenses. I can add expense categories and hide transactions as desired. It also allows me to “roll over” the difference in the budget to the next month if desired. It can also set up a budget based on past activity and then allow me to tweak it to meet individual needs. Kudos to the Piere development team, you have hit a home run.

This is the best Mint replacement and the transfer over was relatively easy… excited to see the web version when it comes

I like how it lays everything out for me

I loved Mint. Used it for years. This is close to that app but lacks the stability of that app in terms of maintaining account connections. I don’t even yet both with the budgeting features because there are nearly constant issues with account connections failing. I’m always having to disconnect and reconnect accounts. Often, connections will get degraded and suddenly the account I had in here for months is no longer available. Connecting my TreasuryDirect account is one example. Suddenly can’t add that account. I like Piere but it needs to figure out how to keep accounts stable.

The Piere development team has been quick to reply to feedback and suggestions, which makes me optimistic for the future of the app. It seems every month they are releasing new features. I wish they were a little more responsive on Reddit and to help linking accounts, but overall it’s been a great experience. I recommend Piere to my family and friends.

I got Piere when Mint shut down, and I was looking for a solution with similar reporting functionality. Piere doesn't yet have everything I want (desktop version, highly customizable reports), but they're rolling out new features all the time, and the customer service team is very responsive.

I tried a bunch of different personal finance apps to replace Mint and Piere ended up the best option. I've had it for awhile now without issue and they actively wre making improvements, which is good to see!

Would love if it had statement due amounts and dates but otherwise incredibly easy and useful

And then no refunds. And doesn’t work well with student loans

I could only connect about 20% of my accounts (100% with Mint). They are not yet a Mint substitute and should not be a $$ paid subscription until they improve.

This app has been promising desktop version for a while now. Recently, on their reddit page, they even mentioned that desktop version (beta) will be available by end of Q4 2024. No sign of desktop version while they keep pushing these unwanted AI stuff (X-Ray). Deliver what users want.

I decided to try this one out after Intuit killed Mint. I am one satisfied customer so far! It has been helpful to track my spending and budgeting while taking a glance at total funds I have in my accounts. Recommend!

Great replacement for Mint

This app is great, it does everything i need it to. It tracks all spending and investment correctly. Other platforms usually mess up my retirement or investment accounts, but it’s not an issue under Piere. I just wish there was a better way to track my crypto as well, but besides that it’s my go to app right now.

I’m still evaluating this software, but so far it’s been interesting

Piere shows me alerts on large transactions or critical state of accounts way before i get alert from actual bank. E.g. WF took 4 days to send me “immediate attention required” for a event that Piere identified right away.

Overall, the app is pretty good. Improvements have been made over the past year. I think it can be great once the switch is made to plaid.

Relatively new user of Piere and loving it. i’ve tried so many apps including Monarch, Rocket Money etc and not only does Piere do everything they do better but it’s also cheaper. No brainer to switch but hoping for the web version which I was told is currently in the works. Definitely recommend

It's a great Mint.com replacement and the devs listen and make improvements or fixes when there's feedback. It's intuitive to track expenses and setup budgets.

I appreciate the automatic budgeting features and the fact that it attempts to pull in historic balances. My only complaint is a lack of additional users as I'd like to have my partner have her own login.

I switched to Piere when Mint shut down, got in in time to get it for free. It doesn’t yet have all the features that I liked with Mint, but they keep rolling our new stuff, and the customer service is really responsive.

I’m another former mint user who jumped on the hope train here. It’s been extremely difficult to find something to replace what I relied on with mint but Piere is better than others. I have Monarch and am just getting a few things from each of these apps that combined fulfill my needs. I’ve seen a lot of growth and increased features so I’m hanging in there. The app is aesthetically pleasing and I really want to love it. I expect over time I will adapt but having used mint for so long it’s been a hard transition. Piere has my faith and I’m looking forward to future improvements including a web app. Thank you!

I am able to connect all my accounts to it, managing transactions is really simple and straightforward and the budgeting is nice. It’s simple and does exactly what I want it to do without any issues!

I absolutely love this app! My husband and I are the kind of people that think that having a budget is really important because it helps you to know where and how you are spending your money. We absolutely love it because it has helped us out a lot and I really wouldn’t change the app! We were looking for a while for apps until we decided to give a chance to Piere and we really don’t regret it at all, we love it and we are so happy to have it!

As someone with 10+ different credit/debit/investing/savings accounts it can be hard to track where money is going. This app really helped me see where and what I was spending money on so I could cut back and save in some categories.

Had been using Mint from the time it started until Intuit killed it. Pierre looked like the best free option— for a long time, a lot of the pro features were free, as well. Now it is still useful, but you cannot see your net worth more than one month back or view more than 1 month of transactions at a time without getting a subscription. Still has been useful for budgeting/ alerts, but the free version is very limited.

Piere was the perfect replacement for mint. They make changes and updates constantly so it’s always improving. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the lack of desktop features makes it inconvenient to use.

I really love Piere and I wish I could use it as my primary finapp, but it’s missing one basic but important feature. Cash Flow! A simple calculation that shows my income minus my expenses for any given month.

Seems to be legit and is recommended by a government agency for consumers. Takes a little while for the A.I. to understand your spending habits but is helping to better understand spending.

Really enjoy using this app to know where I stand and support is wonderful and responds quickly. A great replacement for Mint.

This is a fantastic alternative to Mint, allowing me to track my budgets and spending all in one place. I’ve had a few issues with my accounts syncing that have made the app unusable to me for a while, but I am optimistic as a member of the Piere team has been directly working with me to resolve this. I would be looking into alternate platforms if it was not for this fantastic white glove customer service. Thank you Piere team!

Since Mint shut down, I have tried various other budgeting apps, but none of them could do every thing I wanted. This app has far exceeded all my expectations. It does so much, and does so without bombarding me with ads. I love that the developers are interacting with the users via email and Reddit, and am excited to see the future of Piere.

I have loved this app so far! It’s very user friendly, love the color schemes, and has lots of different ways to track your budgets! I do wish there was a way to show how much I was moving into savings and not just relying on what it thinks is going based on the income/expenses. I also wish that if I changed my budget for a category one month it didn’t change the months prior so that I could see how I did on previous months.

Great alternative to Mint. It took a little bit to learn the new features for Piere but it has been exciting to see this app come to life. The only thing I miss is being able to access it from a browser. My phone screen is small and I don’t have an iPad. I would love to see a browser version soon!

Great alternative to Mint and for couples / families sharing finances.

I’ve been trying to find a Mint replacement for the last year. Came across Piere a while back and have been really impressed. The team is clearly focused on evolving the app and it has been really exciting to see the app grow and change. Looking forward to seeing all of the future updates as the app has already done a great job of keeping me on track financially

I started using Piere, like many, when mint went down. So far it’s been way more user friendly than QuickBooks and I’m really excited to see how the AI integration helps my yearly budgeting.

The notifications and budgeting is great. Some things are hard to categorize for the income which has caused some issues. Overall very helpful.

For someone who doesn’t want to learn about finance this app really helps me understand what is happening with my money

Perfect integration for all my financial accounts from Mint over to Piere. Does an excellent job tracking expenses by category and income. Detailed spending reports by date ranges is fantastic as well. Overall extremely worth the subscription and even great on the free tier plan.

Having used Mint for years, I looked for an alternative. I’ve seen Piere grow into something so much more than a replacement. It has all of the things I need to help maintain a good budget. I see a lot of potential and look forward to seeing it grow and innovate in the future

Like many, I downloaded this when Mint vanished. It was early on so I got a free lifetime plus membership, and honestly it checks most of the boxes of what I was looking for in a Mint alternative. But development has been pretty slow, though they seem pretty responsive to feedback. Main thing that would be nice is the ability to link a spouses account for a full picture of household finances.

I was one of the early adopters, and I’ve been impressed at the level of communication from the team and the constant improvements to the app. It’s been awesome to watch the developments unfold!

I honestly like it better than Mint, I feel like they always tried to sell you something and I have not seen that from Piere. One thing I would like to point out is that one of my bank account’s transactions show up as “Debit Purchase” instead of what they are. Hopefully this gets fixed.

I tried tons of apps when Mint closed; this is the best option without doubt. It’s intuitive, clean, and has all the functions you need. Their service team is also responsive and helpful.

Piere so far is significantly better than any app I’ve tried. The only critique I have would be adding budget subcategories and a bill due date feature.

This seems to be the only free app I can find that allows you to have a full overview of your finances. It also helpfully notifies you of large purchases and helps identify savings, which are added bonuses. The adding of accounts is a little bit clunky/lengthy, but not terrible. And some accounts don’t refresh regularly/on their own, but not sure if that’s a Piere problem or a problem with the financial institutions (my guess is the latter).

A good alternative to Mint, has most, if not all, the features that mint had. I do wish that they had a the option of setting savings goals in the app.

Tried several budgeting phone/web apps after mint shut down. Narrowed down to two, and Piere won. Piere offers a quality experience and doesn't price gouge. Definitely recommend. Has gotten only better with each update.

Has really helped with budgeting

I really miss the Mint app. This is a nice replacement and it feels like it is getting better and better as time goes on. Really hoping it becomes as great as the Mint app was before they shut it down. Lots of potential here!

I understand yall gotta make money but gosh can i atleast try the app before you shove a subscription down my throat. I haven't even seen if i like it yet and the fact that it's $10 a month. Like that insane. Hopefully it's worth it but atleast let the user use the app. Will update

The most important feature for me and many others is just tracking net worth. While the app is feature rich, the design feels lacking and feels less than premium. Beautiful UI and design is what will truly draw users at least to onboard. Couple that with ad campaigns and piere will be second to none

I’m part of their beta for some of the new features and I really like what they’re doing. They have net worth tracking, budgeting, reporting; cash flow, and personalized insights. No cọmplaints.

This app is buggy and does not work as advertised. Paid a lot of money for the subscription only for it to stop working shortly after. Never was able to use the ai tools for creating a budget. No response whatsoever from support to try to fix my issues.

Piere is a very basic app that promises automation and simplification of my budget. But at a high cost! Why pay for something to save money when I can just figure this out myself for free. And there isn’t much to the automations except dividing up my restaurant checks when I pay and get Venmo back from friends. Disappointing.

I created an account yesterday and the account balances are all showing $0 which is incorrect. I submitted a contact form so hopefully this is fixed but it’s very confusing why the account balances all show $0 after connecting the accounts. The point of this app is to show you all of the balances in the same app. The app seems great but the balances aren’t showing which makes it unusable. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

It’s getting better, it still feels like it has work to do to make the experience more seamless. Some banking apps don’t update or update very slowly. Some fields aren’t as intuitive as other apps I have used like Mint.

Bait and switch on me, took my time to set up months ago, now free version can only allow 3 accounts. All the so called ai intelligence are pretty useless when I can’t even search “50” and find all transaction totaled “50.”

I was using the free trial for the paid subscription and set an alarm for the end of trial. Period. My account was charged before the trial period was over for a whole year when I had only requested monthly billing. I’ve been unable to reach customer service to get a refund. I was unable to cancel in the app or through apple because they already charged me for the annual.

After Mint shutdown, I tried a bunch of apps, and decided to go with Piere because of their intuitive app lay out. The app have pretty much all the budget tracking features I need. Especially appreciate being able to manually create transactions to track payments I might have made with cash. Overall I highly recommend Piere!

Supplies enough to be a great budget app without the weeds that becomes zero base budgeting

I can’t even get passed the sign up page. It just goes in circles. I signed up for the free trial and it just keeps going in circles taking me back to the sign up page.

Impossible to use this app for budget management or tracking expenses for tax deductions. Transactions from sync’d accounts randomly disappear or don’t appear at all. You can contact tech support and eventually they restore them. But the problem is never solved and keeps happening. An utter waste of time.

Data aggregation is not new. Why are some banks stuck in the 20th century with how they share data? With some banks I have to keep “reconnecting” them in the app. Nothing more than tap “reconnect” in the app and it starts syncing again. Some banks are worse and I have to verify with a code and some banks are better and never have problems syncing. With that said, the customer support so far is EXCELLENT!! They have never left me hanging. And I receive responses that do not read like a script. To be continued…

Potentially a Mint alternative that we have all been hoping for. Please add support for iPad!

I have been using the app since Mint was discontinued; so far it’s pretty great and continues to improve! I will say, however, that I’m missing the ability to view my cash flow trends. Mint provided charts of total monthly spending, income, and cash flow trends over the last six months. Please consider adding this in the next update! Otherwise, keep up the great work!

It never refreshes or has bugs and keeps glitching. I can never rely on it to tell me what I really have left to spend each month. It’s getting worse and worse. I am moving to nerd wallet instead.

Loved the app when it was actually working fine. Now I have to reconnect my bank accounts every single day. On top of that inconvenience, I have to recategorize my transactions all over again because they reset when you reconnect your account. I stuck with this app thinking it would fix itself but nope, this has been an ongoing issue for months.

This is a great replacement since Mint is taken over. Has good UI and has many of the same features Mint did. Easy to use app

Setting up an account was difficult to say the least, First, what’s this nonsense about using a phone number as a username? Second, every time I return to the app and try to login I get a “user not recognized” error and a full password reset is required. Update: it’s now possible to login but the process is very slow and you have to re-login too frequently.

I have had nothing but issues with trying to connect my Apple Card. Other then that the app has the features that I was looking for in a replacement for mint.

Almost does nothing, I can see a net-worth and it integrates w an API pull down financial info. Budget feature tries to guess a budget, but it’s way off. What about expenses, seems like this should be there, no? What about net or trends? Nope

After 1 week all my accounts have become disconnected and require me to re-connect.

In my investments section I have Fidelity & Principal Financial (from my job) . Fidelity shows two accounts. One Principal Financial. Fidelity categories ROTH IRA (I have) and the other “Prft Shr 401(K) Sal Def”. Job categories. Principal Financial shows the same amount as “Prft Shr 401(K) Sal Def. “ Which is throwing off all the calculations if I have all 3.

The app is still being streamlined and improvements are coming out weekly/monthly. So far what I like: User interface (design, transaction icons with company logos, color layout), auto budget feature that helps create your budget, ability to change categories with “apply to all transactions” of the same likes. Has essentially all of the necessary account and institutions I need, except Apple Savings. Used MX for account verification but they’ve also said they will be integrating Plaid. What could be improved: Ability to track property asset values with Zillow or Redfin, ability to associate a physical asset (home or car) with a loan account. Apple Card stability- adding this account is extremely difficult and I’m not sure which end is at fault (Apple or MX). Adding a shared account for couples would be a game changer, which Monarch currently allows.

I’ve found some apps that can do most of what mint did, but nothing could match the budget tracking of mint… until now. This app works almost exactly the same with the added bonus of not being involved with intuit. Love it so far

With mint when I had issues I could file an issue but would not get any response and most of the time it just wouldn’t work with all my accounts. Tried Piere and had a problem with my credit union checking account which has been my main account for over 40 years and would not change. Let them know the problem and they were great. They worked with Mx and figured out that the issue was my CU had changed platforms and Mx was showing two accounts instead of one. They deleted the extra account and everything works great. Multiple very friendly emails to get it working over a few weeks. Never seen an app developer with better customer support.

This might the single best app after Mint if they execute. I love it already. Very seamless and nice user interface.

I can’t register for an account because I already have an account apparently. I don’t remember the password but when I hit forgot password, there’s an error message I can’t read fully. Could my account please be reset?

I am so far very pleased with the app as a replacement for Mint. It seems to work very similarly, and it’s ease of use it great! I would love to see widget support like Mint had, where you could see a snapshot of budget items.

The app has been the easiest to use since mint is dead, but I have a couple of gripes with the app as a user that I really hope gets fixed because there’s a lot of potential. I’m surprised these minor issues have all been ignored and for whatever reason ai integration seems to be more of a priority. 1) Every time I split a transaction it takes me back to the home screen as opposed to whatever screen I was on before. confusing user flow. 2) All of my apple pay transactions read exactly as that - apple pay. No further detail. They also don’t show up in my budget. Most of my transactions are made on apple pay- how am i supposed to budget properly if I don’t know the merchant? 3) Custom categories cannot be deleted 4) When changing the category of something, searching for the larger overall category doesn’t pull up all the corresponding ones below. 5) UI is very large and clunky. This is personal preference but I do not enjoy experiencing the app as if I had it set on magnify. This also makes it hard to view more of my budget at once. I hope these get fixed soon as I find the app very good aside from these problems I have faced. These are mostly UI/UX decisions that have been overlooked and should be fixed to ensure a smoother experience.

Fail

Poor connection with US Bank. It will say it was updated “14 min ago” but it doesn’t reflect an accurate balance. It shows the old one. Its fixed when I remove us bank and re-establish the connection, then it’s accurate again. Tried to save “login with Face ID” feature but it keeps toggling off

Another Mint user frantically searching for an alternative. I’m eagerly awaiting the desktop version because the mobile app is a bit of a challenge, in small ways. If I have to nitpick, I would love bolder type on the category headings so I don’t have to hunt down glasses, hah. I would also love to be able to tap on a field to edit vs trying to tap just the right spot on the edit icon to get it to pull up. That tried my patience, esp w trying to edit a transaction title. Also, it would be really helpful to be able to set an individual budget item over x number of months so it accumulates until the expenditure. Ie, I only get a water bill every other month, same with haircut. Love being able to see and categorize all transactions. Can change dates and title if needed too, perfect. For now, it’s really helpful and has a Mint feel. I do agree tho that trends for income and spending and ability to filter by category are crucial to the long term success of this app. I used Mint for not only personal but also small business taxes, so I really need those functions to tally up the totals. And I would happily pay a small monthly fee if it meant getting all that functionality back. Just did my personal finances for now, will hold off on business to see how this develops but am excited about the direction it’s taking and appreciate the value you are placing on our feedback. Keep going!

I am a long term Mint user looking for an alternative and have been trying Piere for the last few days. Currently testing Piere & Empower As my top two. Piere is overall excellent program with lots of potential. 4.5 stars. I can’t give 4.5 stars so 5 for now. Lots of flexibility and capability: -Manual accounts and transactions. -Editable categories and ability to change categories for all similar transactions. -Excellent and intuitive interface. -Excellent Mint csv migration and integration. Worked very well. -Net worth tracking is good. I understand it is still under development but a few downsides so far: -The program is overall slow and a little buggy. There is no clear indication if if is still processing or has crashed so I find myself waiting and poking the screen for a response. A UI indicator will help indicate progress. -Budgets/cash flow As a new user, I can set a new budget for this month but it seems there is currently now way to apply a standard budget or even see cash flow summaries for previous months even though the transactions are all there. This is a disappointment. I would also prefer a simpler budgeting option. I’d like to just set a fixed budget and not have it keep changing every month. -One of my financial institutions will not connect after multiple attempts. I have manually created the accounts and manually entered transactions for now (great feature to be able to manually do this) -No investment portfolio details tracking. it looks like the balance & transactions are downloaded but it is not possible to do any portfolio analysis or tracking. For a complete finance picture including detailed investment portfolio tracking, Empower Personal Dashboard is probably the best free option but the interface looks a little dated and I am also having issues syncing one of my financial institutions. Also Empower hasno Mint csv importing or Manual transactions. Sorry for the long post!

App has good promise, but disconnects on a daily basis from connected institutions. Also it's hard to import mint transactions because of spreadsheet size limitations as it's hard to upload multiple spreadsheets in the same access link session. Not really stable at the moment.

I have had good experiences with this app. One feature I liked on Mint was trend. I could see spending and earning month by month. Also, it would be great if it has credit card bill reminder.

Like many others, I was left stranded without a finance app replacement when Mint shut down. After a lot of research, I decided to give Piere a try after reading positive reviews about their responsiveness and thoughtfulness and the fact that they were offering a free signup. So far I have had a great experience and I highly recommend this app. My transition from Mint was very smooth and their customer service provided helpful and fast support when I needed it. The app definitely still has few kinks (although so did Mint) but they have continued to seek feedback from their users and I have a lot of faith in the developers’ commitment to improving things.

Best app to replace Mint by far. Can’t wait for new integration with Apple Card. Only feature I hope to see soon is the ability to see pending or processing transactions with ability to toggle the feature on/off.

Not sure if it’s a mint replacement but it’s been working out so far. The app is in early stages but I’d like to see it continue development. It has a good place for me to track my transactions and I can export easily. I am waiting for the desktop app but until then it’s pretty good

I’ve been with Mint since the early days and have watched it improve over the years. I hope to do the same now with Piere! It’s a nice budgeting app and I’m enjoying it so far. But I have two issues: 1. I submitted a request that they add Marcus by Goldman Sachs since I have a HYSA with them that I haven’t been able to connect. I do hope to be able to connect it sometime in the future. 2. One of my main bank accounts is constantly having connection issues. However, this may be my bank account’s fault and not Piere’s. The connection is constantly expiring and the whole process of trying to reconnect it often ends with my bank account access being blocked due to some issue with the security questions. I’ve tried to talk with my bank about it but they’re no help. I’m going to stick with the app because I have high hopes for it. I know Mint wasn’t perfect and could be glitchy at times. But so far, Piere has been a great alternative, despite the account connection issues I’m facing.

It has all the possibilities of a MINT slayer, but way to glitchy right now. Login only works about 50% of the time. Connected accounts not updating. Overall I believe it will be good when the kinks get worked out. Right now it’s not there yet.

The app seems promising. Incorporating AI features is good. Net worth graph being interactable is great; just like Mint. Please also make Net Cash, Net Income, Net cash flow, Net Spending graphs over time and make them interactable. These are features that Mint had. Your baseline is Mint. If you don’t atleast have Mint features, you’re dead on arrival. Don’t even bother to start a subscription service without Mint features. You have a lot of competition. Empower is my favorite as of now because of the deep insights they provide for free. Monarch is the closest to Mint but expensive. Rocket Money is somewhere in between - moderate price and reasonable features. What is your USP? Nail it hard, advertise your USP hard. Do your market research well. I joined now because they have a lifetime free subscription for users who join now. It is to be seen if they survive. It is to be seen if they still honor the lifetime subscription for initial users. So fingers crossed. Hope you do well, hope you listen to users for feedback.

The app is still in the development phase, and it has already surpassed my expectations (and I’m hard to please with my budgeting apps)! They are pushing new updates regularly and the app is quickly going to surpass all the other budgeting apps out there!! I’m SO glad I found this app whenever I found out Mint was shutting down. I truly believe this company is not only going to fill in the gaps Mint is leaving behind, but it’s going to be the most downloaded/used budgeting app out there because they are so forward thinking and taking so many ideas into consideration!

Can’t get csv (old transactions) file from Mint to load into Piere. No connection to Citibank after multiple tries on different days. Keeps asking if certain payees should always be filed into specific categories, even though I already said yes.

the ONLY free (for now) app that ACTUALLY does everything i wanted from Mint after their move to Credit Karma. this app is new, so its a little tedious to deal with some slow UI/interesting grouping choices, but honestly AMAZING and a LIFESAVER after Mint went down. hopefully gets better and better. thanks devs!!

I connected accounts using their system and got confirmation emails from my accounts / banks but I continue getting error message that I cannot create a budget and to connect more accounts. Update: Good so far just had to be patient and wait due to increasingly popularity of app. Will look forward to utilizing it more to see how it works.

I tried many apps but this one is the best replacement for Mint! Hope they bring android and web version soon

Overall good integration of multiple accounts. Unfortunately, I see many income/expenses are incorrectly categorized, and many income/expenses are duplicated. Also, it is cumbersome to have to reconnect all of the accounts every time I want to use the app. While I really like the functions of this app, I would like the option to use this on the computer, not app-only. I don't have great vision so it's challenging to use effectively for financial planning on a phone. Features I would like to see are the ability to view trends in expenses by category, and ability to edit multiple transactions at once. For example, to change the category of multiple transactions from the same company all at once.

This app is fantastic. This does everything that I need it to in terms of net worth and budgeting. They have an incredibly responsive support team that has been able to resolve all my issues within hours. Definitely worth trying.

I can’t even create budget without linking account, I don’t know if I can create custom categories or set rollover monthly budget since I can’t create budget. What kind of mint alternative is this??? Update 1: I have added account manually but even after that when I go to budget tab I see connect account button instead of able to create budget with various categories with monthly allocation.

Custom category - this us must have and without this it’s not going to work for manys Update on 2-Dec: always shows current month budget even though I’m selecting past months in the drop down. It shows correct budget fraction of second and changes to current month

I had made a mistake on my phone number and there is no way to correct it I’ve tried deleted the app reinstalling it rebooting clearing out any data It even says by continuing you will be able to enter a new phone number well it doesn’t do it you’re in a loop. Is the software design number for well over 35 years you need to look at that section of code very poorly designed

I was a long-standing Mint user for a whopping 12 years, mainly using the budgeting feature. Was really concerned after having so much data and time spent on Mint, and having to spend hours setting up a new app. Piere currently doesn’t have an import data feature, but turns out I don’t really need it! They pulled all the data from my accounts and set up a budget automatically, so I didn’t even have to do anything manually for set up. Really impressed!

Piere is a great alternative to mint for sharing transactions and budgeting. After linking your accounts it is so easy to share transactions with friends and pool money for any events you have. Definitely recommend trying it!

Other apps require you to budget in a way that feels super manual. Piere is incredible in that everything is just so automated and easy. They automatically build your budget, they automatically reconcile transactions - everything is just done for you. I can’t believe I was budgeting so manually without this before!

I came across this app through an ad and I’m really glad I did. Budgeting and net-worth tracking is so important to me, I was stoked to see they have the budgeting and net worth features I was looking for and best of all it is super easy to use and FREE (compared to other budgeting apps that cost $200+ a year). On top of that, when I had an account connection issue - they emailed me back within 2 hours with a solution! Very impressed so far and look forward to seeing what else the team is building!

I’ve been using this for a few days now and am definitely satisfied with this as an alternative to Mint. I really like the way that the budget is set up and LOVE that it helped me build it automatically based my transactions. Didn’t have any issues connecting my accounts (namely Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Sofi, Robinhood). Will definitely be using this for budgeting and expense tracking moving forward.

If you want budgeting and expense tracking try Piere Tried a few other apps now that Mint is shutting down and this is the best FREE app that lets me budget, track expenses, and see my net worth. Definitely worth checking out.

I’ve used mint for many years now and I looked at a bunch of different alternatives before I landed on Piere. I wish I switched sooner! This is the best budgeting tool I’ve seen on the market. It was a seamless transition and the experience has been great. I plan on moving all of my personal finance needs to Piere as they continue to scale and launch new features. Would definitely recommend everyone do the same!

Makes me actually want to keep a budget and track my expenses. The app is easy to understand. And I had a question and the team got back to me within an HOUR. Every app will have its bugs and necessary improvements but nothing tops good customer service.

I’ve always had trouble with budgeting because it’s always so hard to get set up and my accounts never connect easily, but it literally took 2 minutes with Piere and they even supported my Fidelity account which always has issues

Came over from Mint I came over from Mint and found exactly what I needed in Piere. I just want something easy for budgeting and expense tracking that I don’t have to put too much work into and this hit the mark

Piere boasts an intelligent platform and they really live up to the hype! at first i didn’t really understand the “reconciliation” feature but when i saw it in action i was hooked. it solved my main problem with Mint which was the tedious task of recategorizing transactions and having to manually “hide from budget and trends”. with Piere i can go out with friends and share the transaction right from within Piere which is already cool but the HUGE feature is Piere knows when my friends pay me back! For example, the other day i went to brunch and spent around $120. my 3 friends Venmo’d me back a total of $90. Piere automatically “reconciles” those Venmo’s against my $120 purchase to show i really spent $30. it’s genius and i can’t believe Piere is the only one who thought to solve this problem. if you currently have Mint or just want an accurate budget every time then i highly recommend using Piere! it saves SOOOO much time

Another (former) Mint user here Got an email saying Mint is ending so I started searching for a budgeting app to replace it. Tried Monarch in the past but it's too expensive and Piere has no charges to use. The budget feature works like it says and I could link my car loan account to keep my net worth up to date. My suggestion would be to add a manual budget but I emailed the developers and they say that's coming soon so I'll be patient. The automatic budget got it 95% right and all I had to edit is how much I wanted to save for retirement which is more than most users probably! It's free so I would check it out if you've been using Mint like me!

I’ve been using Piere for a bit now, and it’s made a huge difference in tracking my budget. It took about 30 seconds maybe to generate the budget for me and I really didn't need to edit it much. In Mint I'd always spend a few hours editing the budget every month but so far this seems better. Just checked out the payment splitting too and it's a nice enhancement to Venmo. I'll report back after a few more weeks with what I think!

Piere’s free budgeting features already make it a good Mint alternative (especially with the news that Mint is going away soon), but the ability to get a viable budget without any real work on my end makes it easy to recommend to friends and family. Can’t wait until this thing gets AI-powered.
